These were cut from an uncut sheet and signed after the fact, then JSA authenticated slabbed. There are also a pair of Ervings and a Barkley out there. They were not obtained by Fleer or released in the actual product.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (Pippen, Reggie and Drexler) ![]() ![]() I also have a Bob Cousy "Inkredible" autograph card. Even though I have no scan here, it shouldn't be hard to find out how it looks like with some internet searching. I don't know too much about old-time players, especially those outside of NBA 50 Greatest. Having said that, I like collecting these old-timers not only because I grew up watching some of them (Jordan, Pippen, Reggie, David Robinson, Olajuwon, Malone, Stockton, etc.), but it is also my respect to them for their contribution. Whether or not they are inducted into HOF and/or included as members of NBA 50 Greatest, these old-timers, in one way or another, helped shape the NBA into what it is today. Then the Mikan Inscriptions/100, followed by the Shaq Autographics. Too many to remember... very nice collection, thank you for sharing it. I will definitely check out the other sections as well.

Thought I would get in on this. I post a lot on Beckett and only have 59 Certified HOFer's. It's been 2 years since I'd bought anything which means I've really gotten behind as new players get inducted every year.
To make things a little easier on me I decided to narrow the criteria for HOFers I collect. They have to be male players and have played in the NBA. I don't know how many that cuts off but eliminates some of the harder ones. But I've given myself the freedom to add some of those if I choose. Like the Harlem Globetrotter players are easier to collect so I plan on collecting those. My most recent and only pickup is: ![]() This card puts me at 59 while I am also in the process of getting a Rodman and Frank Ramsey. As much as people seem to hate Panini I have to give them credit they have really done a nice job getting HOF autos in there products. I put a $5.00 bid on a Bob Kurland cut auto and was outbid in the last second and it went for $5.50. Man that would of been a steal but that's what happens when you don't pay attention.

But Kurland didn't play in the NBA
![]() Great to see you on the boards - you should share a link to your photobucket as I'm sure people would like to see your collection.

LOL yeah my plan is to only collect ones that played in the NBA but every now and then I sit down and go through the entire HOF list on eBay and just happened to see a really nice cut auto of him.
So does my photobucket link not work? I know it doesn't link directly by clicking. Can't figure out how to get the link to actually be clickable. Anyway glad to be here. I don't bust a lot anymore but still hope to be part of the community here.

Ah, sorry, I didn't notice the link in your signature when I looked for it earlier today. The link works fine when it is copied and pasted.

I don't have any special criteria I just look for good deals on HOFers. I also enjoy collecting autos IP. I have gotten Dominique, Bird and Walt Frazier IP before hawks games. I will probably never own a Jordan auto unless I luck up and get it in a pack or someone gives it to me. This is a fun project and hopefully I will be able to enjoy it for many years to come.

The latest addition to the HOF family. I wont be seeing it for a minute though because it's coming from overseas. It's worth the wait though.

Although not elgible to be in the HOF until 2015 I had to pick this card up it was only $4.00. It is an auto of Yolanda Griffith.
2005 Rittenhouse WNBA Yolanda Griffith Autograph Auto Sacramento Monarchs | eBay For those of you who don't know here is her resume: WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Award (1999) WNBA MVP (1999) 8× WNBA All-Star (1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007) WNBA Champion (2005) WNBA Finals MVP (2005) WNBA's All-Decade Team She also has 2 olympic gold medals and is one of the wnba's top 15. She is a lock to make the hall once elgible. For those of you who don't like/collect women's basketball you are doing yourself a huge disservice. Female ballers are elected to the same HOF that their male counterparts are and most of them are real sweet, down to earth and don't mind taking pictures and signing autos for their fans. |
