Default 08-09 Hardwood or Hot Prospects.?

ok...i have money already for Hot Prospects, but should i save my money for a hobby box of Hardwood.?

Hardwood:
Pros:you can get a 1/1 sketch or rookie patch auto maybe in a hobby box
cons:doesnt have that many inserts

Hot Prospects:
Pros:you can get about 2-3 autos
cons:hardly any rookie cards and no inserts are numbered

Which one should i get.??thanks

In my opinion, HARDWOOD is the way to go. Get it while you can, it was printed to order, chock full of goodies and is drying up fast, so if you want it, get it now.

2008-09 prospects is not that great. Yes you can get a rookie patch auto but the chances of a star like rose or mayo are very slim. You might get a crappy second rounder. Also, the rookie auto cards aren't that great because they weren't game used, the patches were photo shoot used. You might get a rookie auto patch card with two stupid relic cards. I bought one box of 2008-09 hot prospects and I was completely disappointed. I would definitely go with the hardwood.

I bought another box of Hardwood today. Got 2 Michael Beasley /299, one Derrick Rose /299, one O.J. Mayo Mohagany /75, a Jason Thompson Printing Plate 1/1, a Josh Smith Red Patch /25 and a Ryan Anderson Red Rookie Auto #5/5

I'd say these boxes are stuffed! I've yet to have a horrible box. Although, my Donte Green auto'd box wasn't the greatest, but these low numbered parallel cards are nice.
