I'm not saying that it will do anything bad to your card... but I wouldn't keep a nice card like that in a bubble mailer. You don't want to keep your card in a place where it could get too hot and sweat in there since there is plastic from the bubble mailer. I could be totally off on this, but I just wouldn't do it. Always try to keep your cards it a cool dry place. Not too hot, not too cold either I guess. But better cooler than hoter. Yes, it's very tricky to keep cards safe, but we gotta try our best. I would find a box where I could store my cards under the bed, not in plastic. I'm sure you're ok though, but I wouldn't take that chance. All the best.

Just took it out thanks, I put it on my top shelf( it's rarely any light in there because my blinds are never open and I have a huge poster over the blind)

The autograph is "very very slightly faded" says the seller...lol There's barely an auto left on the card.

"But why.... the autographs were graded a 10!? " and "BGS cases have UV protection! "

Answer: The IV protection doesn't matter....

Furthermore, i'm sure these autographs were bold and beautiful once upon a time when it was first graded. I can tell you with 100% certainty that these autographs were beautiful when first graded or else BGS wouldn't give these types of autographs a perfect 10. Yes, there has been some pretty bad 10 autographs out there, but not faded autographs like this, believe me. I'm followed this type of stuff since BGS first started grading autographs, and this my friends is a classic example of autographs faded after...

Real shame, such a nice card, and great group of guys.

I wonder if the card being acetate can lead to the auto fading more easily?

Now, from the pic you can't always tell, because you may get the card and then it's a different color than displayed, especially with Chrome Ref. But this is around the color it would look if it had light damage to it. But the only way you'll be able to see the difference is to get about 5 of them or so, where 4 would be on the normal colors it should be and you can spot the damaged one easily.

You can try this at a card shop or show where the seller has multiples, you will see the difference, especially if the seller got them from all different places...
I hate that this happens to the Finest/Chrome cards, it seems that some cards are not effected by whatever it is causes that green wash. I have various refractors from the 94/95 Finest line and the difference is huge.

The cards that don't have the green wash, or in some cases, white wash, look so much better. Aside from the obvious reasoning, without the color problems, you can truly appreciate the beauty and quality of the card you're holding. I'll post some contributions later.

Good question. Not sure myself, but it may have had an affect... maybe someone else will chime in.

Here it is, an example of what I call 'white wash' on a 94/95 Finest card.

Thanks, it's no worry though. A while back I opened up a box of the series 2 finest from that year and got what I'd call a 'hot box' ALL the hot rookies, including Grant Hill and the Jordan base. Back then I'd be a rich man.

They were all pretty much flawless, save for that Jason Kidd.

But at least it's not as faded as this one below.... A real shame how we keep losing more and more great cards. Take care of your cards folks.
