Default My Complete 03/04 Ultimate Sigs Set

Hey guys. I figured I would bump this back up for those of you that haven't seen this before. Plus, I was just staring at it for about 10 minutes on my wall and reminiscing in how awesome it is. Figured I would share again

It was actually very difficult to put together. The Magic and Bird cards are both SPs and don't show up often. The Garnett is a SSP and from my research I'm guessing less than 10 were ever made. Only 4 unique Garnetts have been on eBay since the product released 9 years ago, and I've seen 2 or 3 more on photobucket accounts for Garnett supercollectors. Makes me think that there's not many complete sets out there! I've only seen 2 others complete other than mine.

Hope you enjoy!

Anthony (RC)

Bird (SP)

Bryant

Erving

Ewing (Barely signs anymore!)

Garnett (SSP)

Hayes (RC)

James (RC)

Johnson (SP)

Jordan (SP)

Kidd

McGrady

Milicic (RC)

Miller

Ming

Payton

Rodman

Stockton

Stoudemire

Sweetney (RC)

Wade (RC)

Professionally matted and framed!

Chilling on my wall!

Not to change the topic, but your premiere patch auto set is awesome. I can't believe they put the wrong auto on the Gwynn card though.

Congrats on the complete set, it is quite a feat.

How are those cards mounted, and are they removable without damage?

To answer you guys' questions, they're perfectly safe.

I had it professionally framed by an art shop that specializes in preservation. It is all acid free paper, tape, etc. and it's behind museum glass that blocks UV light from getting to them. It's fully sealed to prevent dust. They're safer in there than they would be in magnetics in a box. Plus, what's the fun in not being able to see them?

As for DrJ's question, they are not in sleeves or toploaders at all. The guy that framed it made custom sleeves that fit around the card kind of like an envelope with open ends. Then a slip of the sleeve goes through the mat and is taped to the back. It gives it a 3D look and makes it so that the only thing touching the cards is acid-free silicone, no paper. I think they did a really good job, and they damn well should have for $300!

One of the cleanest designs ever I think - I have the T-Mac from the set, any idea of the Print run on most of the Autos?

UD never released any print runs that I'm aware of. Only said if they were SPs or not.

Thanks guys! Any idea on value? I figure it's something I'll hold onto for 5-10 years and then sell, but just curious what you think it would go for now. Almost want to put it on eBay just to see what kind of offers it brings.

That's awesome. I know you said they won't fade, and I hope you're right. Those cards look so nice together and the sigs look so blue and pack fresh.
