Help with pricing a card..

I pulled a Lebron James Topps Turkey Red Gold Parallel #1 of 5 last year, and was looking to move it. It doesn't have a BV, and can't find any comparables on the bay.

Anyone have any idea how much I should do a BIN/BO for?

I can provide a scan tonight if it will help.

If there is nothing comparable to it then find something comparable numbered to 10 or even 25 and do a multiplier. If a non auto'd parallel #/10 sells for X amount of dollars then double your BIN price + maybe 10% more JIK and field offers.

I agree BIN BO is the way to go so you don't get any idiots messing with your auction AND more importantly, can get a price and a buyer you are happy to deal with.

Just tried looking again now, still nothing on the bay. It's from an older set of cards too (06-07) so might be a bit harder than usual.

I would put a $200.00 Bin/bo. I sold a david west suede (same year) # to 3 for like $30 i believe. Next day another guy messages me and tells me he would've paid $100.00 for it. Sooooo i know that there are at least 2 guys wanting low #'d turkey reds. Plus it's Bron!

There are a few people who are collecting this set and have paid good money for these even with the lesser players. If you check the recently completed auctions you will see that a Trenton Hassell sold for $116. I am sure that is one of the set collectors. Considering yours is number 1/5 and that Lebron is having his best year ever I would put a $400-500 BIN/BO out there and see if you get any offers. You can always come down in your price.

Nice find, I'll put it up at around 500 bin/bo and see what I can get for it.

You might want to adjust your title before the fleabay police remove the listing. They've been removing listings without warning on cards posted as 1/1 that are not really a true 1/1. Just a heads up, they don't get all of them but they do get many.

Also, since its the checklist and not LeBron's regular base card, the offers may be a little lower then if it were his base. Still a very nice piece that should get you some nice coin.

update, according to the buyer of the previous Lebron James card,

LeBron James 06-07 Topps Turkey Red Gold /5 - eBay (item 300299465254 end time Mar-14-09 23:44:25 PDT)

It actually ended for around $250. There was a discrepancy on the close of the auction, and he is offering me $260 for it. I've contacted the previous seller to see if this is true.

If it is, is it a good idea to take his offer?
