Shouldn't they worry about getting out the Retro set first?

If they load this product up w/ their exclusives, it will be just another company that is watering down the value of those players.

i heard about this a little while ago but without pics for proof, it was a little hard to believe. agreed that with all of the big names that Panini has now, it's really going to be feast or famine with this product.

this is like a band reforming 20 years later and tarnishing their legacy with a horrible new album.

don't get me wrong - the college jerseys actually dont bother me in 90% of cases (doesnt hurt that i am a UNC fan), but Exquisite seems too sacred to water down.

This could do great if they get all the non-exclusive rookies in and get the product out before Panini's NBA redemptions hit.

I don't like how UD is doing the whole '1 MJ auto per case!' thing. They did it with All Time Greats and it flooded so many MJ autos out there. They don't hold near the value of pro-uniform cards. It gives a lot of people a chance to own a Jordan which is cool, but I fear the day that they get NBA licensing back and send out 1000 Jordan autos in one Exquisite release.

gretzky/jordan looks too busy. i know it's a mockup but having those two sigs so close bothers me.

mj exquisite looks interesting. gold auto on a b/w background is nice. the big foil ring looks too busy.

I wouldnt mind pulling one of those , but the cards are def not "exquisite" Totally watered down...This is a spin of all time greats, witha different name.. I may try a box, but for the price, I think people for the most part could loose big time and the reasle value won't be that good. I think the cards will def not hold value and drop big time after a week or so after the first release. I see disaster written all over this one.

The fun is in getting something rare and incredible, not the other way around. It's the search for the buried treasures that makes it worthwhile...When will these companies get it.

They MUST do it right in order for this product to garner collectors respect.

Panini first comes into the basketball scene and throws out logomen in products, result on here:

5-10 pages of "rabble rabble rabble Panini is ruining the market/value of Logomen rabble rabble rabble"

que to when they signed Kobe, and his auto seemed to be a case hit:

Cue to this "Exquisite" product and several of UD's past NCAA themed products-since thats all they can produce, with the MJ/LBJ/Magic insert other big name legends at a rate of 2-3 per case...

"oh yeah this product looks good..cant wait.."

what??

so Panini "floods" the market with Logomen and Kobe Autos..lets burn Panini down, UD floods the market with MJ/LBJ etc autos...well its ok cuz thats all they have

such hypocrisy

I think this product could be nice if they minimize the college imagery. Use a head shot and a nice patch from a player's NBA days and the card will be beautiful without NBA logos. Same thing for 2 or three signature cards. I see this release being a big seller as the price should be right at release time.

i think that was on this post but the pic had been removed. I was telling a friend about it and showed him the pic of the jordan above. I thought i remembered another pic of that player signing it too. Maybe we were not suppose to see that early glimpse ?

Yeah, this will be a winning product. Like it or not we all bought in to 2009-10 Exquisite. All they had were college UNI rookies, and most were not auto-ed, and non were RRA. I think it will be a good rip as well.
