Oh he bumped him intentionally, I am just hoping the NBA doesn't see it as malicious and suspends him.

Rondo..really? You're not helping anyone by sitting in the lockeroom, except maybe the hawks. The Celtics really need to figure it out, their offense consisted of two people setting screens and everybody else standing still. Show some hustle and get to the rim!

i dont think he deserves a suspension
it doesnt effect the suspension but it was an awful call
they should take that into consideration it was a bad call
will be a huge decision by nba

if not suspended celtics shouldnt be worried
played awful and were still in game

I can't believe rondo did that, I figured he learned from when he threw the ball at the ref last time, I'm a die hard celts fan but he's a punk

Celtics can win Game 2 without Rondo, but we need 2007-08 Finals MVP Paul Pierce who just takes over games and destroys people to do it

Also need Ray Allen to play, or at least try to.

Had no idea the Hawks had home court lol. Thought Boston had a better record guess not. I think the Hawks win this series, especially if they play like they did tonight.

I think Rondo just gave the Hawks another win in Game 2

If that doesn't get a 1 game suspension, then the league is a joke! Contact on the ref in ANY form is disrespectful to say the least. And to do so in the dying seconds of a Playoff game??? Rondo, what the hell were you thinking?

You make it sound like he shot the President. Relax buddy.

He probably is getting suspended, and its not like he did something malicious.

Disrespectful? Wow. Calm down.

I hope he isn't suspended.

Terrible calls down the stretch against Boston caused a build up of emotions. Yes, it was dumb, but I hope it doesn't end series. It was not malicious and he did trip. I'd say it's 50/50.

Rondo made a stupid mistake. But the Hawks played hard! Hope to see them advance.

Even if hes suspended the Celtics can win, its not like the Hawks are the poster children of consistency. Especially Josh Smith, he doesnt always make those jumpers.

Obviously having Rondo makes me feel better, but its not the end of the world without him

that was clearly a foul on Bass....

Rondo clearly tried to show up the ref and clearly bumped him on purpose...

what an idiot...

Are you serious? Or just messing with me?

Do you not agree that bumping a ref like that is disrespectful?
It is intimidation! It is lack of respect for the ruling!

I know that players CONSTANTLY argue the refs call, but the second a player makes intentional contact with a ref! They should be ejected/fined/suspended!

That is pure Celtics fan's optimism! Just hope that the rest of the C's can look at it this way and make the game back hey?

I am not messing with you, you are overreacting. No its not disrespectful, it was a mistake in the heat of the moment. You are sounding like he punched his mom in the face.

Relax. If the Spurs did this, you wouldnt be so high up on your soap box.

It happens a lot, by a lot of different players, he will be punished. The end.

What? Why am I responding to you again?

Did you see the first half when they were down by 19? Rondo being ejected didnt blow the game, it might have cost Game 2, but it did not cost the Celtics the game 0-11 for 3 point line, Pierces line etc.

Thats what lost the game, not Rodno being kicked out with a minute left.

Rondo was/is the teams best player, and its possible for them to win without him.

All of this is common sense for anyone who is not a troll.

Careful my Spurs homer friend, your Spurs arent in the Finals just yet.

And what would u want me to do, say the series is over and sell my Game 3 and 4 tickets?

What is wrong with you?

Firstly... show me a team in the NBA who shows LESS emotion in heated moments than the Spurs!! They never react to pushing and shoving, the never get in the face of refs in intimidating ways.

Tony Parker got blatantly pushed while on a drive by Eric Dampier that was a Flagrant 2 and the other players on the court go to see if TP is ok, then walk to the bench and wait for the Refs to sort it out! So it won't happen to the Spurs all the while Pop is the coach!

Second - I am not implying in any way that it was any more than a little shove. I am saying that any contact to the refs is disrespectful. If you don;t think it is, then I would hate to hear from your parents as to how you were growing up... if you have indeed done any yet!!

Before you get on your w**ker wagon... I wasn't patronizing you here or even being sarcastic! I was being sincere!

You are looking at the positives of the current situation - Rondo MAY be out, but the Hawks are an up and down team at best!

I was saying that I hope for the Celtics sake, they look to this viewpoint instead of dwelling on Ray and possibly Rondo being out!!

So stop being so arrogant! And stop thinking the whole world is against you!

Rondo was still upset at Davis for missing the out of bounds call a minute before. Can't really blame given how close Davis was and how terrible an official he has been all year. However, even though he did trip a bit, he needed to keep his composure after the initial T. Intentional or not I think a suspension is due. A five game series just turned to a six game series.
