LOL....$400+ for a bench player or perhaps a "One and Done" player...

You also thought his prices were not over the top when at their peak. Just saying. That being said, I agree the Knicks have to keep him. BD sure shouldn't keep them from doing that.

everyone's cards drop when they're not playing, whether it's from injury or end of season or suspension. i'd be extremely surprised if lin's NT RCs dont bounce back next season. maybe not to the extremes that we once saw, but still higher than $400 on an NT RC auto /99

That's the non-patch version and not numbered to 25. Those base /99 non patch autos were selling for around 1k during his peak. You guys have this confused with his /25 patch autos which were 'legitimately' selling for around 5k during the peak.
Sure, it's a dropoff, but this just proves how big the asian market is for player cards even if they're not playing. That card would have probably sold for 30 to 40 bucks before he even got his first start. |

I sold his jersey parallel /99 for $200. Then a week later it sold for $350. |

That's what happens when an injury occurs. Nothing new. If Lin was still healthy and playing good like he did... it would still be selling strong. But unfortunately, that didn't happen.
I MIGHT pickup some of his rarer cards when the price drops more. Hopefully he will come back next year healthy and become a Star player. That should boost up the value once more. |
