No he's not. He's a by-product of having 2 really good players around him. Put him on a team like the Bobcats and he's not as successful. I'm not saying he's bad player, nah he's not bad at all, just not a franchise guy.

I don't see why a franchise couldn't build around him, but at this point it's all speculation.

that sounds good, and i actually subscribed to that theory early in the year..but seeing him in a bout a dozen games since then, i have changed my opinion..

Anyone who thinks he's not worth a max deal isn't watching tonight's game...he looks great for houston. I think he'll be an all-star this year and average 22-24 a game.

Wow, what a game so far for Harden. It looks like he's trying to show people he deserves the 80 mil. I'm not going to lie, i don't believe he is worth that kind of money.

Anyone who thinks he's not worth a max deal didn't watch him all of last year save for the disaster of a finals. Without him, they wouldn't have gotten past the spurs last year.

Not too take credit out of Harden. He did play great tonight. Although he also played 44 minutes. Can he keep that up for the rest of the season?

Hopefully he doesn't have to. Everyone but he, Lin, and Asik (kind of) played horribly last night.

there is a big difference in playing a few hot games and playing all season at a high level like durant, lebron etc....... they paid him HUGE money... he's just not that level of player that they paid for.
