Default Received my first foil card today

A mailer I received today requires a post. I have purchased 1000s of cards online and received some wild packaging, both good and bad. Today I have the worst to date.

I open a mailer to see a wad (yes, wad) of aluminum foil. I ordered some hot pepper seeds recently and thought this must be some of them. I was wrong.

Inside of the foil was a Ginobili auto I purchased off eBay. Yes, a card wrapped in foil. The card must serve as a tissue now.

The seller even included a note about leaving five star feedback. I won't mention the seller yet. I thought the seller must normally deal in other items, but I was wrong. He/she sells cards and even has 'cards' in their eBay name.

I think the seller must know me or of me and this was deliberate. I can't possibly imagine a card dealer mailing a card wrapped in foil.

I've already chalked this up as a destroyed card. I requested a return for refund. I will wait and see. The seller should pay for return postage for such an act.

I guess I received a real foil card.

That is utterly pathetic. Wrapped in foil? Sorry to hear Matt.

Wow foil wrapping, never seen or even heard of that before. . . the worse I've had before was a card wrapped in only a plastic grocery bag. . .

I heard foil packaging locks in the freshness! Maybe they were worried Manu was getting too old! lol

Aluminum foil keeps the card from being xrayed by hot pack experts as well as keeping it away from the prying eyes of the people behind the upcoming zombie apocalypse.

I considered this too. The Argentinian must be illegal to send via the mail and had to be shelted from x-ray searches.

I hope the new form of card protection does not consist of penny sleeve and foil. I have proof that it fails miserably.

The seller ask to call me today.

It was shiny. Definitely not the Reynold's Grilling foil, but not the Dollar store variety either. I would consider it 'mid grade.'

Good one!

Though, my ebay account has no reference to metal.
