Default Blake Griffin agreed to five-year extension

Blake Griffin agreed to a five-year extension, worth up to $95 million.
When Durant signed his five-year extension a couple of years ago it was just $86 million.

insane. i realize they dont have any choice but to offer blake a max contract, but seriously, is he worth 19 mil a year? how many players in the league are worth that much? or has it come down to simply being an all-star and/or fan favorite... griffin hasnt proven anythin except that he can catch perfect passes and rebound above avg and shoot FTs below avg. is he a top-15 player in the league? i dont think so...

rashard lewis was just waived lol. his contract and joe johnson's 120mil 6-year and gilbert areans 111mil 6-year deal might be the 3 worst 9-figure deal in NBA history. gilbert's woulda been more bearable if he didnt have those surgeries + gun incident...

OK seriously.....why are the Clippers even in L.A?

It's probably the most ridiculous thing in all of NBA.....L.A is Laker Town, I don't even understand how anyone can live in L.A and like the Clippers more than the Lakers.

There are a lot of people who dislike the Lakers here in So Cal, due to it being diverse, a lot of Celtic fans actually.

Yeah, I can believe that.

There's a LOT of Knicks fans in Miami...

But, it still doesn't make sense to me, and for god sakes they play in the same building!

I think it would only be fair to move the Clippers to another city....maybe Seattle?

The only person to get more double doubles their rookie year than Blake was The Admiral. He's averaged nearly 22 pts/game for his NBA career, 2011 ROY award winner, 3rd highest scoring forward last season (only behind Dirk and Durant), set a dunk record and had a 50%FG average, meaning he is a beast in the paint. Believe me, not all the passes he catches are good, he just makes them look easy because he is 6'10 with an astounding vertical. Hate all you want but he is easily top 15. Now if he can improve his free throws then teams won't be able to #@#@#@#@#@#@ out and foul him every time he touches the ball.

... and the haters come out. Clippers got just as far as the Lakers did last year. Lakers is on their way down and Clippers is on their way up.

The only time I got the opportunity to see Blake play was during the playoffs. I wasn't impressed at all - he must have been playing hurt because he looked slow in transition and was outmuscled down low. If he has already reached his ceiling, then his 'flashy' dunks aren't worth the money.
