What's your favorite year? (Chrome refractors Maildays!)

Finally decided to share some of my recent maildays! Just missing two for the set, one of which I can get no problem, the other of which I will never ever be able to afford haha.

Anyways, I love the look of these cards and since they don't make them anymore I thought I'd stock up for my Kobe collection!

All of these are refractors So which year is your favorite?

Yeah, I love the 97-98 one! It's funny how hard some of those were to find. I think the 99-00 was the hardest for me.

i am trying this for ewing and its 80 cards deep. i guess going for the base refractor first is the best way to start

Yeah, base is all I could really afford, and clearly the kobe rookie is out of my range haha. That'd be a real nice set of Ewings!

I was going to try it with Hakeem, but I got outbid on a 96-97 base refractor and decided to call it quits haha.

Is that the one out of /199? What are you looking for for it?

Out of those I like the 2006-07 and 2009-10, but my favorite Topps Chrome design is the 2008-09. Here are my Kobe Orange /499 and Red /5 Refractors from that year:

Still looking to pick up a base refractor from that set. I was out of town and missed one I was watching and it ended for $15 i think, since then I was bidding on one that ended at $36, but there's no way in hell I'm paying over $25 for that one. Most the others were around the $20 price range

They all look good to me. It's hard to pick one that I like better than the other. That 08-09 design is probably my favorite if I had to pick. Man I miss Topps!

Thanks. Kobe's refractors have blown up this year. I picked up the orange when they were at $8~10 range last year, now they're $40. The Red is probably my favorite card in my whole collection, I love the pic of Kobe vs LeBron.
