Default My PC of KVH

Long time nets fan since 95 when i was going to games to see Charles Barkley and the suns because knicks tickets were too much.

Was pretty upset when the nets took kittles over kobe in 96 which made kittles a player i could never appreciate because of it. the following year i remember seeing KVH buzzer beating GW highlights during the NCAA tournament and became a big fan. When the Nets were able to trade for him, he instantly became my favorite player. Unfortunately, the cards i wanted were unattainable for a 12 yr old with a paper route. Fast forward to today and im slowly building up my UBER high-end KVH collection.

LINK TO THE WANT LIST

Will be adding more in the future, but for now i have these two beauties:

thanks! i think i got it at a pretty good price considering he is one of the lesser players in the set. just wish the card had a reflective finish or something, sort of boring imo.

That's what is great about KVH. He is in just about every late 1990s landmark insert set, and is one of the most affordable in each set as well.

i know, its great! as a fan of him and the nets as well as the hobby, being able to get some of the nicest inserts of the 90s at an affordable price of a player i grew up a fan of, doesn't get much better than that!

nice cards!
I remember liking him in his early NBA years, Barkley called him out for shooting too much
whatever happened to him in the 2000s, after Nets traded him? Injury?

Awesome collection! You're doing a great job. That "Intimidation Nation" card is not very intimidating, though!

Those are some absolutely terrific cards from some superb sets!

I always wondered if there was a big KVH collector, and it looks like you are becoming that!
Keep it up and keep sharing with us please!

lol i know about the nickname and its all good man i was just busting chops. teams never gave him a fair shot because he got a massive contract from the nets, who unfortunately felt he was expendable in 01-02 because of richard jefferson.

Nice makings of a great Van Horn collection. I was a fan as I went to university in Manhattan and my brother had season tickets to the Nets. The O'Bannon/Kittles/Van Horn teams were pretty middling but fun to watch nonetheless.
