Trust me, its right. I remember that product and I just used beckett to confirm what I thought. That's why 98/99 series 2 boxes are tough.

And its not 10,000,000 boxes. Do the math. 30 rookies x 4025 cards of each (2500, 1500, and 25 versions)= 120,750 cards inserted into box topper packs. you get 2 cards per pack. Thats 60,375 boxes. That's a very reasonable number.

So indeed RC's were inserted into both packs, and two cards per pack? So 4 RC's in every box? Wonder why they did it that way. Gonna check youtube to see if I find any box breaks.

There is One 2 card pack as the box topper. So 2 SPX RCs per upper deck series 2 hobby box.

Yep. The rookies were all found in UD II 2 packs box toppers. You cant pull rookies from this box. Im sure kobe/Mj spectrums are decent hauls from this product along with those 1:360 force cards

Pretty rare I guess. The SP Authentic that same year came with 1 RC per box, unless of course you got yourself a hot box, which I haven't heard for that product. I personally opened a box of Sp Authentic and know for a fact that there was 1 RC per box, but my understand for the Spx was the same. Guess not. So sounds like the SP Authentic is much rarer to get your hands on a box? I think there are 30 RC's also, but no Radiance/1500... Wait, never mind lol, there are 2 RC's per box in SPX...

Anyway, yeah Will, I would definitely sell this box ASAP and get some nice cash to buy some singles.

You may have been shafted on your box. But you can't base everything off of seeing 1 box opened. If they were 1 RC per box, then they would have produced more boxes of SPA than regular Upper Deck, which would never happen.

I can swear that I remember the card shop owner say it was 1 RC per box on the SP Authentic, and one auto. Btw, I got the Jamison RC and Lafrenz auto LOL

Wow, how long ago did you pay $550? Hopefully around 2000 when the product was on fire. Boxes are around $130 now.

I think it was either 1999 or 2000. It was the only 1998-99 SP Authentic box in his showcase, that was the shitz!!! Back when PSA Gem 10's of Carter was selling for $3,000 and $4,000 LOL I remember the store owner mentioning to me that he got lucky and found a guy that would sell him a Carter Gem 10, and that it was going into his PC haha

I hope the same thing doesn't happen to cards today, when in the future they number RC's to just 25 copies, and include pieaces of GU afros! hahaha

Yep! The 1998-99 Spx Finite box did not have any rookie at all. However you have a shot to pull the rare parallel of MJ, Kobe, Duncan, et al and it goes for big bucks.
