Any reason for this?

I am a JJ Hickson collector and have over 70 of his cards, but even to me this is crazy. Any guesses or ideas why this card went this high? When Black first came out, the card was going for 25.

Supply Vs. Demand is the only reason I would think it would go that high.

seems like there's a decent amount of people collecting that set #30. The derrick rose of that set goes forl ike $500+

I'm a Cavaliers collector. When those cards first came out I decided I would wait a bit for the price to go down. I think it's one of the best looking Hickson autos out there (the new Ultimate isn't bad either).

I've been watching and the price on those cards have just gone up. I should have bought that one I saw when they first came out.

I picked one up when they first came out because I thought it was one of his nicest looking cards. Even though I collect him, I am thinking about selling it while the demand is so high and using that money to pick up a few of his ultimate collection rcs. Should I let it run in an auction like that or do a BIN/BO?

The price for black is going up a little because so many people thought ultimate would be amazing. But since its not like that, those cards are going up

those cards /30 have the best patches out there and there's usually only 1 or none on the bay at any time so whomever missed out on others keeps wanting to buy the most recent one. I bought the derrick rose /30 when it first came on the bay for like 580 then the next one that came out sold for over 800. I almost got sniped on the first one, as the card went from 340 to 580 in the last 5 mins of the auction
