Need Help Chosing a Case to Buy
 

Hey all.. i usually don't ask for assistance with cases to buy as I susually know what I want.. But im getting a nice backpay check from work in about 2-3 weeks that i'll be able to (if i wanted to ) buy a few cases, but I only need one.. so price range can be up to about 1500$ -

I don't want exquisite, or Ultimate.

I'm thinking about Hot Prospects or SPX (08-09)... Any other suggestions? Whats a good value for the break?

you probably can't find a box of chrome, but chrome only has 1 auto per box, and unless its rose, its going to be worth less than the box. You should go with Hot Prospects

I'd definitely get 09-10 Game Used. It looks awesome.

Or get a 6 box case of Black, I've seen some really sweet ones.

There is not much of it around anymore. I bought a ton of it through BO after release (6 cases). The stufff was hot and still is, especially the refractor's (orange /499..gold /50). A case now is gonna be over $1000 whereas I was paying $700ish 4 months ago. I made a decent amount back on it selling in LARGE Rc lots and sets. 20 D. rose RC's brought $250 on feebay for example. I don't know how well you will do now for paying that kinda coin. Good luck to whatever you choose.

Nuggetsman, these cases have been sold out for a while. No one has had these. And if your talking about ebay, then you should know never to buy boxes on ebay.

I thought about SPA 08-09, but its just too pricey at 1525. At that price point, it makes it not really worth it.

Thought about 09-10 SP Game-Used... however.. its going to be loaded with junk jersey cards they need to get rid of. I bet very few of the cases are remotely worth the pre-sell price. A lot of shop owners thought Ultimate was supposed to be really worth it, and... look at it.. its crap.

i think that applies with all cases!!:p

I would go with UD Black. You are guaranteed at least 2 A-level autos (most cases have 4). Also, of the 20 cards in the case, you will most likely receive no less than 18 autos.

I'd probably take a chance on 08-09 SPX, 10 hits a box with some nice subsets seems worth it to me.
