Default My basketball Hall of Fame cut autograph collection

...grew by 7 cards today. I now have 10 in total (the bottom three photos are cards I already had in my PC).

I'd been looking for Al Cervi and, particularly, Andy Phillip cut autos for a long time. I ended up with two of each! Panini really excelled themselves with the card design featured in the first two cards.

If cut cards are done right, which NT did, I think they are the coolest things. I think its awesome with deceased players who never got to sign...

oh someday I want a Maravich cut...

I agree, I think NT and TT released some great looking cut autos. That's one of the things that I like about Panini. They've released autos of players who'd never signed before. It's a shame they didn't release any cut autos this season. Seems strange.

Yeah, the first Phillip card posted is one of my favourites too. I've seen it sell for $187 before so I'm happy mine didn't cost that much.

Yeah that's what I meant, the first Phillip on the top... I remember that sale also. Sweet cards, and can't wait for Panini to do their magic once again.

Congrats! It's always fun finding out who bought cards that you were watching on eBay I liked the other Arizin but didn't really need any more of his cards. I wanted to win the Hank Luisetti auto but I already have his autograph so decided to save my money, although I slightly regret it now. Meanwhile, the Paul Endacott auctions all ended at surprisingly high prices - not to mention I already have one of his autos - so I decided not to bid for those.

Have you received your Arizin auto yet? When you do, please post a scan if you have time.

I think Panini should have done this with Past and Present instead of the scrubs they used for the Elusive's. They could have given the product so much more potential; instead we get autographs of 80s and 90s scrubs.

Sorry to highjack your thread, cards are awesome, just made me think about what Panini could have done with Past and Present instead of a series of autographs that no one will ever collect. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome cards man. I have the 09-10 Red Auerbach from National Treasures and it is one of my favorite cards in the PC.

I agree with you, although I actually quite like the fact that Panini got some older/unusual/1980s players to sign. But with a name like 'Past and Present', it was a bit of a let down.

No, I haven't. But that's on my want list! Maybe one day.

If I didn't already have an Auerbach auto, I'd love to add one like yours to my PC.
