yea he helped the cavs a ton when he was less "washed up" a few years ago..
lakers are old..getting superman would give them a legit shot at the title
but this current team beating the okc thunder?
no way
okc (baring injuries) is in the finals again next year..

This is a GREAT pick up for the veteran's minimum. He isn't great defensively, but for that price, you won't find many better scoring options off the bench in the league.

Not even close.

Gasol>Malone at that point.

And Nash is 10 times better than Payton was. Nash is still playing at an all star level.

Fills the scoring veteran off the bench that Odom once filled.

Great move, cant hurt, its cheap $ so if hes broken then who cares?

I wouldn't go that far. Just because the Lakers/OKC series ended at 3-1, doesn't mean it wasn't close. A few more shots and the Lakers would have been facing the Spurs in the Conference Finals last year.

Not sure how I feel about this im a huge UNC fan and would love to see him (along with Nash) win a title with the Lakers (I have never been a lakers fan but give them credit) but I can not stand MWP so I almost want them to lose just so he can not win a ring.

If only VC or Jason richardson would get traded to LA for MWP then it would be an easy decision

Antawn Jamison has been AWFUL for awhile now...anyone that consistently watched the Cavs can tell you that.

Notsureifsrs. The lakers led by around 7 in the final couple minutes of atleast 2 of the losses, maybe 3. They should've won the series, or atleast have taken it to 6-7, but blew it.
