Default WHY??? Would anyone trim this beauty?????

I purchased this card in a lot yesterday. Upon closer inspection I noticed the top looked trimmed. The picture shows the card, with a redemption card under it to show the size difference. Who would DESTROY such a beautiful card?

What do I do with it now? Sell it as is? (Trimmed) Destroy it? I would hate to sell it trimmed, and have someone else resell it to someone who doesn't know any better!!! I also would hate to take such a huge loss. I know the card still has some value. It is such a beauty!!!

Ouch, that hurts. Personally, I'd ask for a refund and send it back to the seller if possible. You have a scan of it plus serial numbers so it can be tracked if someone decides to try and sell it and take advantage of someone

A free contest is not out of order here.... hahahahaha just kidding.

Did you try to contact the person you bought it from? I would try to get a refund, especially since the person didn't tell you it was trimmed. I'm sure he spotted that, if he didn't do it himself... Sucks, but try contacting the seller and see what happens.

That still doesn't stop the next guy from breaking it out of the case and selling it without stating it has been trimmed.

I don't think you can hold yourself accountable for what the next unethical person is going to do. You can't. I would try to get my money back from the person that you purchased it from. If that doesn't work, sell it as is but be sure to state that you think the card has been trimmed at the top.

What the next guy does is none of your concern.

How can you trim a Exquisite card...seems like it would be hard to...also have you tried measuring according to other Exquisite cards? The redemption might just be a little bigger

Dont think anyone would trim it, and if they did it would probably damage the foil

I am thinking a miscut

I bought it in a lot from another customer at a LCS. Someone came in selling the lot and the owner didn't want to buy it. After seeing what he had I asked the owner if he would mind if I made an offer. After some negotiation we came to an agreement. There was about 20 cards total. Never saw the guy before & probably never will again.

Just noticed another one on ebay that looks the same. I am wondering if this is how they were all cut. It looks smaller in the magnetic holder than my other Exquisite cards. That is what lead me to think about trimming. Now seeing this other one makes me think differently. Not sure how to link auction, but item # is 140799798981.

I really don't know how you would trim a card this thick, but I'm sure there is someone out there that could do it. Just by looking at it with a magnifying glass & a jewelers loupe it doesn't look trimmed. I just figured it was because of the size difference. If anyone else owns one of these please feel free to chime in here. I would like to know either way. Thanks everyone!!!
