These were never patch cards! It clearly says JERSEY on the left side

this seller is such a fraud...

He is getting quite good at it. That card looks nice, even though it's absolutely fake.

too bad there wasn't a picture of the 1/25 card before it was faked

At least the Jordan/Bryant/James/Garnett, more-obvious forgery has been removed from eBay. Maybe enough of us notified eBay to have it removed.

Well I reported it...doubt it will help

I called ebay so many times about his quad card, and it keeps getting taken down but he puts it back up.

I reported him too. You'd be surprised - if enough people report it, eBay will have no choice but to look into it. Having the original card available on WorthPoint validates our case and I made sure to mention that on my note to eBay.

what do you guys select for the reason of reporting?

What a moron, Here He/She is selling the same year's patch card and it clearly says PATCH on the side.. I guess He/She didn't think about the Jordan printed JERSEY on the side lol

I select the "Copyright and Trademark" category and the "Counterfeit item or authenticity disclaimer" option.

I don't know this for a fact but given how the MJ patches look remarkably similar to the LBJ patches in terms of areas/breaks - I'd be pretty skeptical about the legitimacy of the LBJ ones as well.

Happy you made this post. i was looking at the card wondering if it was real because i've only seen the black diamond quad patches with two patches on the left or right and jersey on the other side and was going to ask on here if it was fake. Thank you for stopping me on bidding on this fake card.

Some of you rich guys should spend $1 and just post an AD on ebay showing the "real" 1/25 and calling his card out as fake. This is getting ridiculous ruining all these nice jersey card. I think his Lebron quad patch is FAKE TOO!

I am very skeptical about this one that ended as well. I don't feel like the patch is authentic. Does not seem right.

Yeah Rick, I am with you on that Jordan also, but for it to get a 9.5 surface would be tough if it was faked.

Just yesterday a few people on this forum were stating BGS doesn't grade cards with fake patches (total BS), and now here is more possible proof of it. I think people just believe what they want to believe.

The patch does look ' off' on the 9.5. But if inserting a new patch; wouldn't someone insert a 3color patch? Hard to say on this one. But the patch just looks so different from all the ones I've seen for that card.
