I actually liked both of these guys in the NBA up until I saw these idiotic and vicious actions.


For what it matters, Turiaf and Batum are now on my list of players I will wish injury upon in the NBA this coming season

The Batum thing is completely awful. I mean he wound up and sucker punched another man in the groin ... It doesn't get much dirtier than that. He's such a thug, but he wouldn't dare do that to Lebron or anyone around his size.


Fernandez flopped a bit but he still got completely leveled and landed directly on his hip. You try getting blindsided by a guy 50 lbs heavier than you and flying 10 feet in the air, landing directly on your hip bone haha ... that's gotta hurt!

Yeah, this sort of thing just highlights the lack of professionalism and quality in players. The ONLY way to affect the result is to play the game!!! Not carry on like a thug because you are losing!
It is worse because I am a huge fan of Tony Parker and he has always been a fair player that focuses on the game (like all Spurs), but now the whole French team is going to get viewed as dirty!!

I guess France takes international competitions VERY seriously!! I used to be a fan of Thierry Henry (soccer) until I saw him cheat by intentionally handballing to score a goal, which stopped Ireland from qualifying for the world cup. Just another dirty sports play!

Leave that up to the league/refs. Why would you want the players to take this into their own hands?

Well, the NBA enacted new rules against flopping. We can't control the world.

So, by your theory of taking matters into their own hands (players maliciously hurting/injuring other players due to a harmless act that has a minor impact on the game and doesn't physically hurt anyone) ... anything that anyone does in this world that is 'bad' but not illegal, we should physically injury them maliciously and on-purpose, and it's completely justified and OK?

No one is asking to solve every problem in this world. This is a basketball game. I'm talking about basketball. Guys who flop on a play is one thing, guys who, as i said above, CONSTANTLY flops IMO, shouldn't complain when someone cheap shots them because of their CONSTANT act of flopping or pretending to be hurt. Now idk if navarro constantly flopped during the game, if he didn't then thats a different story. Im not saying that if an opposing player keeps flopping, you should meet him in the parking lot and bust a cap in his azz. All i'm saying is that if someone keeps flopping and you're getting tired of it & replay clearly shows you barely touch him and magically his body flew into the stands, then do something about it. Only time the league will do something is after the game. You want him to stop flopping during the game

But let's be honest......the biggest floppers are usually International players!

Ginobili, Scola, Varejao, Nocioni.....it's how they play!


And it's insane.....I don't want Soccer style playing in Basketball.

I agree. All the NBA needs to do is stop calling it. It's fairly obvious when it's a legit offensive foul and when it's a flop, stop calling it and people stop doing it.

haha, no not at all. But there was MUCH more physical contact in every game compared to the current NBA games. Many more hard fouls, many no-calls on fouls. Tons of And-1's not called. Watching the NBA these days if someone sneezes on Wade driving to the hoop he's instantly at the line shooting 2

I live in Portland and have seen plenty of his games live and Batum is a flopper himself. To complain about others flopping is laughable so he's a hypocrite nut cheap shot taker. Wonder how much he'd like it if someone nut shot him for his flops.
