Who is better? Howard or Bynum

Howard is already a superstar but recent injury is acting up on him. As for Bynum, I think he will be an allstar for many more years to come and his number is not that far behind Howard at all. I think I would pick Bynum just for the fact that he doesn't whine as much as Howard.

Bynum still has attitude problems, and has had a lot of injuries.

Where as aside from Howards recent back injury (First major injury) and his douchebag antics, is not even arguably the best defensive player/C in the NBA.

Howard - but the gap isn't as big as people are saying. Bynum is light years ahead offensively if they both are healthy.

I second this. It made me SICK watching %80 of the games bynum played.

Not sure if his knees bother him so much where he simply can't put the effort in but it seems more likely it's just his shitty attitude.

I would take Dwights back injury over Bynums long-term knee issues but there is always the rare unknowns with any back injury.....

You simply can't teach dwights awareness and drive that he shows playing D but there is always more practice and room to grow for his inside O game

Bynum is superior than Howard in the offensive end, Howard is superior in the defensive end.Bynum can be borderline retarded at times. As for injuries I would worry about Bynums knee more than howard. IMO I would take Howard over Bynum.

good riddance to bynum. like everyone else says his attitude and immaturity grew tiresome. bynum could be the best if he wanted to, but i suspect he never will. he just wants to have fun and make money. i don't even think he's that into the game period he's big and talented and it's a easy way for him to make lots of money. if i recall he didn't start playing till his senior year of high school or something.

howard destroys bynum defensively, but bynum is a better overall offensive player. has better range, footwork, and touch in the post. but in this case howard's sooooooooooooooo much better for the style of play nash will bring to the lakers, and will thrive more than bynum ever could have. bynum needs too many low post touches and needs time to work. howard's a athletic freak, and will work magic (no pun intended) off the pick and roll with nash. i mean look what nash was able to do with gortat in the p&r last season. now amplify that times a million with howard. it's crazy to think about. i can't wait to see this team on the court.

yeah you're right, like i said i wasn't exactly sure. but he didn't really start getting attention until his jr year when he transferred to st.joseph or something like that. he went to like 3 different high schools. i just remember seeing a story about him that he really didn't stand out and start to develop until his later high school years. can't recall where i saw it though. anyway, he's you headache now. enjoy.

Bynum rarely was a force. Dwight usually always is. I think that puts Dwight ahead even though Bynum can be a better scorer.

However, as far as a Laker fit, Dwight is clearly a much better fit.

potential is all BS. if you don't use it then it doesn't count. Bynum has been in the NBA for a number of years but hasn't yet reached his full potential??? he is just immature. I don't even like Dwight Howard but he is a much better player mentally and physically.
