This up comming season- Final play, game 7, NBA (not olympics) championship. Down by 1, 10 seconds left...Who do you want with the rock, who do you believe has the stones to take that shot and can get the job done, KD or Bron? I reluctantly say Lebron, but he'd probably pass it...lol

i have to say that after watching the olympic final, Lebron gained some points with his going into take over mode at the end...However, olympics and nba=big difference. For Lebron, nba generates a ton more pressure...I imagine having a championship under his belt, leads to him being a lil less nervous about putting up the final shot in a big nba game from this point on...

Lebron by a mile, Durant couldn't get it done with 3 other Olympic caliber teammates.
6th Man of the year, Leading NBA shot blocker, Top 3 PG and the Scoring champ couldn't stop one man, Lebron. He hit dagger after dagger in the playoffs, and in the Olympics. I rather have a player that shows up for 90% of the game rather than 10%

I'd say Durant...
On these kind of scenarios, skill is a factor but the main thing for this is the "killer instinct". You can see it in Jordan in last shot scenarios. The hunger that he wants the ball in his hands.... It is instinct for him and those things can't be learned comes naturally in a person which for me Lebron is lacking that. He can learn it in a certain degree and be more confident but I just can't trust him. |

if youre only asking about taking a last second shot, i take durant (much better shooter), but if youre asking about taking that last 10 seconds and making the best play, i choose lebron. lebron could take the shot, good chance at driving and making the shot or getting fouled, and making a smart pass. and if haslem is open 15 feet from the basket, lebron should pass it instead of making a bad play.

Lebron every time. I don't see a problem with him passing it, he is a better and smarter player than Durant. He knows when to take the shot or when it's best to pass. With the championship under his belt I think he will finally have the confidence to take more shots in the final 10 seconds. It's not all about taking the shot every time, Kobe has missed those shots in the last 10 seconds when everyone (except a Lakers fan) will admit he should of passed.
