Default keep an eye out for this card.

Hey guys, I sold a card on Ebay (2011/12 Limited Nate Thurmond 2 Color Patch Auto 1/5) The buyer was from Poland, I priority mailed the card thinking that this would give me some sort of confirmation. Unfortunately the time wasn't scanned after it left my hands, The buyer filed a claim and won. The card is somewhere, (I'm assuming the seller ripped me off, ofcourse). So if you see this card anywhere could you please shoot me a PM? thanks.

I'll keep my eye out for it. Sorry about that, sucks that happened. Same thing has happened to me with international selling and it pretty much made me stop from selling overseas.

We should have a thread dedicated to "lost cards" !!! ... Luckily I've only had cheap cards "lost" and nothing too expensive - I'll look out for your card

Anything I sell overseas over $50 goes priority with shipcover insurance. That way they will cover it if the buyer says he didn't get it. Trust me they will catch him. well worth the extra $1 something.

So shipcover covers a package that can not be tracked? That doesn't sound like something ebay would take part in.

What world are you living in. Give me two examples with proof of someone you know first hand that was caught scamming sellers. eBay only cares about making money, and they back the buyer before the seller in 99% of all situations.

Another reason why I don't like shipping outside of the state! Sorry for the loss.

the seller was not responsible for the missing card in this instance, leave it to the USPS.. Guess what arrived at my house today in a body bag? yes.. a torn to shreds priority box.. returned to me, with the card still taped to the inside luckily... took 2 months to get it back.. card was damaged in ohio, the state over, lol

Lucky you at least got your card back, I shipped my triple patches of pierce/allen/garnett to France (Intl 1st Class, buyer wanted cheapest) on Aug 27, and the customs number hasn't been scanned (to show it leaving the USA). So I called USPS and they said they don't require the package to be scanned when leaving the country. Yet there's nothing I can do about it at the moment.

There is a hardcore Nate Thurmond collector in Poland so I'm assuming it's him who bought this card.

I found him a real nuisance in the past; he kept trying to lowball me for one of my Nate Thurmond cards. In the end, I blocked him on eBay because he was such a pain in the ass.

Although it sounds like USPS was to blame in this instance.

Too bad you posted the buyers name ID and everything here. It's not always the buyer being a liar. Sometimes card do not show up. I recently bought a Strasburg auto and the envelope arrived completely unsealed. Nothing inside. The envelope was great just empty and unsealed. I don't doubt the seller sent the card but he must have forgot the most important step in packing. SECURITY!! I also won my case but he is dead set on calling me a scammer. I have over 700 feedback on Beckett and over 100 and counting here. I have perfect eBay feedback as well. I've only had this one claim ever. Too bad that means nothing to the guy who sold the card. All he sees is me getting my money back.

Some buyers are actually not scammer but just unlucky guys.
