I had never heard of this guy & now I see his name twice since Saturday.. My wife opened a couple packs of 06/07 SP Game Used and got this card..

Olympiacos also signed Von Wafer too for 2-years

I find all this hilarious though, people were and have been ragging on me super hard ever since after the 2006/07 season when my PC guy Ersan Ilyasova did this exact same thing. He signed with FC Barcelona in Spain and people would "make fun" of me for collecting a guy that can't cut it in the NBA. Only reasons Ersan went over to Spain was to make more money and improve his game. Now after playing 2 seasons with Barcelona he just signed back with the Milwaukee Bucks this summer for a 3-year deal. So Ersan got to improve his game during 2 seasons on someone else's dime, rather than the Bucks. A win-win situation for both Ersan and the Bucks. Everyone would just ignore the facts when I tried explaining the reasoning behind Ersan going to Spain. Everyone just simply said it was cause he "sucked". Now look what has happened over the past couple seasons. Childress, Kleiza, Wafer, and a few other guys have done the same thing Ersan has.

Look at it this way, too. If Ilyasova would have stayed here and rode the bench he might have lost his appeal. He could have been one of those guys who is always on the team, but you're not sure why, like a Mark Madsen.

Nate Robinson didn't sign. He was offered a 2 year deal by them, but turned it down.
