Yeah I miss Topps too. Even this funny looking card is cool and fun... Panini definitely needs to step up their game. Why doesn't Topps make cards "Classic" style! haha remember those cards back in the early 90's, like 1991, 92... loved those cards! I think they blocked out the jerseys? Or did they actually use the college names? Anyway, wish they were making some cards too like UD is doing.

yeah, i remember the classics cards, packs were cheap, so ofcourse a young kid like myself was going to buy it up.

i have always loved "big head" cards..from 1938 goudey baseball on up
1 of my fav cards i own
1949 turf cigaretts..

Yeah, they were cheap, but I loved the look of them, and still do! I get it's nostalgia now... but back then I liked them just as much. At the time I was also buying UD cards, and I actually liked the Classic's better than some of their cards. haha I guess it was something different...

Still looking to get a nice Shaq auto from one of those sets. I remember this guy, great guy, store owner of a card shop, he had a Shaq is this bullet proof-looking case, that I believe had a blue label at the bottom with some writtig on it. It was sweet! Would love to add that some day.
