Wow, way too much. I called a total of 11 stores within a 50 mile radius of me to see if they knew they were getting it. Only 4 knew they were getting it, of those 4, only 1 had a price for me and it was $599 per box. They all said that each store is only being allocated one case per store, so I'm not sure how pitt sports cards can be the only place to know the price, perhaps they're just giving a guess on what it will command.

This doesn't look like it's going to be an easy product to get. Does anyone know how many cases will be made?

ALso contacted couple stores and they said since they're getting so little case/cases, they're not doing presell and will just sell once the cases come in. I'm sure/hope Pittburgh sports cards are just overestimating the price. Hopefully it'll be more like $1800-$2000 a case which is probably still very high but swallowable (really not a word).

It says the Product is "Very Short in Production" - That's always a good sign for re-sale Value: It means there will be a lot of low #ed Cards and there's a good chance for Huge Pulls like those 12 Auto Cards ...

I saw Jordan Autos on the sell sheet that were #'d out of 99. That's extremely high for an Exquisite Auto of Jordan.

if you can find anywhere that sells for 555 a box, let me know. I called my local lcs. $800. I called dacardworld, about 870.. dcsportscards.. same crazy price. even with a decent job, this is too much.

I just talked to my LCS they won't even disclose the price or potential quantity until the day of the release. Looks like only a select few people willing to pay $800+ per box will be getting Exquisite this year. Truthfully, I think Retro screwed the next two years of Upper Deck products.

this is reminding me of The Cup hockey this year. Pricing started out at $500+ and tons of people were shocked and didn't want to pay that. a few guys locked in at decent prices below that, but online prices seemed set. a lot expected prices to eventually drop to previous years, but it's still $500+ everywhere you look online. i'm guessing the same will hold for Exquisite. high starting price, lots of people complaining about price point hoping it will drop to reasonable levels, but probably won't.

Pittsburgh sports cards have it for $2600 and said thats the best they can do.
Dacardworld says presell will start soon and so far its looking like $2500.
Don't know any other places that sell them aside from Local card shops. But a lot of card stores doesn't even know if they will get any cases in or how many. And most don't even know how much it will cost for them. It looks like the dealers got smart and instead of selling it at regular price and then seeing them go up after, they just decide to sell it at the higher price right out of the gate. With the crappier stuff they take the chance of people not buying and then they're just stuck with products, but since its exquisite they probably don't have to worry.

Retro is going to look like a great deal next to this product @ $800 or even $500. Doubtful there will be a single card in here that goes for more than $2k in the entire run. At least 300 of those types of cards in Retro.
