Another Ebay Complaint

Recently have been selling off a better part of my low end collection. Sold this card

David Robinson 1995-96 Fleer Ultra Scoring Kings HOT PACK Version, SET BREAK | eBay

Buyer does not pay and claim is filed automatically, as that is how I have my account set up.

After the claim is made, he pays and of course starts complaining as soon as he receives the card.

Leave me a message saying there is minor chipping and would like a refund. To me it is his way of saying he did not want the card and screw you for filing a claim.

I never get complaints on my cards expect for when a claim is filed. So tell me what is the point of even filing claims when I know I am just gonna get hosed in the end.

Do I just give the A-hole a refund and be done or ask for card back first. Trying to avoid a neg over a $3.00 transaction if possible.

Take a look at his feedback as well, have a feeling he gets a lot of "free" cards.

Yeah.
Not much you can do unfortunately, sorry. I think you did everything right.
This is one of many reasons why selling cards < $10 are simply not worth my time anymore.

I think I know the buyer. Is he from TX? If so he has done this almost 20 times to me.

Yes he is from San Antonio Texas. Ebay ID is wjdurbin1

Definetly gonna be on the blocked list.

I sell for fun, that is the irrating part. Ebay is usually good to me but then comes a guy like this who is just gonna be under my skin for the next month. It is only $3 but it is the principal of it. It is basically stealing.

Guess I will just give him the refund and block him.

Tell him you'll refund when he ships it back but he has to ship the same way you sent, assuming a bubble with DC

Doubt he'll do that as it would cost him the price of the refund almost to ship it back

Make him send it back to you. At least that way he doesn't get everything he wants.

Probly should, I cant really worry about 1 negative or neutral feedback. All I sell is low end anyway, not like it is going to hurt me that much.
