I'd say that you're a person who doesn't need a bit of money, so why a) get rid of one of the most popular Jordan cards of all time and b) break up a set to do so and c) trade it for a REMAKE PMG that's only hot because of the nostalgia and hope of it being valued like the original

true, if you don't need/want the money don't do it. Personally I think these Exquisite cards will always be around. I would take advantage of the retro craze and make a few thousand on a piece of cardboard....just my opinion

....your card is amazing by the way

Don't do the trade. Take that Exquisite Jordan and put it in the deposit box at the bank. Out of sight, out of mind. Retro Green PMG is overated. Patch/Auto for a reprint insert card in a college uniform, no way jose.

But it's not. It's a wannabe that doesn't even come close to the original. But the prices are high because people want it to be.

When was the last time you saw one of these available anywhere? It's one of the most popular sets in Exquisite history, the Jordan is the most sought after and one you never see because people have them locked away in their collections. Plus it contains an actual autograph AND piece of patch...

would you trade it for a original green ?

I would not do this trade because 4/10 has a refractor line . If the green was in good shape I might consider it .

Just think about yourself man. Lets pretend you have neither card at the moment and 30k in cash. Would you buy the Exquisite Flashback patch/auto or Green Retro College??

I think you have the easy answer right there. Acutally its a really stupid question to even ask.

No way on Earth I would do that trade.

Why would you trade one of the best cards ever for an insert that only holds high value because of hype?

The 2009-10 Exquisite MJ Rookie Retro Patch Auto is a piece of history. A truly iconic card featuring an incredible design (the best ever, in my opinion), beautiful game used material and the autograph of the greatest sportsman ever.

The 2011-12 Jordan Green Precious Metal Gems features.... some green cardboard.

It's a no brainer for me.

I think sometimes we need to take a step back and consider what cards are really worth.

It's moments like this that make me realise I would never pay more than a hundred or so for a non-autographed card. I don't care what colour it is or what serial number it is. It's just not worth it. It's a piece of cardboard.

But a (literally) exquisite autographed card of an NBA and 20th century cultural icon? That's priceless.

Just my opinion.

Agreed 1000%

The flashback and the original green are both "PROVEN" cards that will hold in value. The new Retro green has not been proven yet. Its even a stretch to say that another retro green can sell for 30k today...even if then first one or two really sold for around that much. I don't feel that the retro green has enough super high-end buyers for the card to hold the 30k value mark....while the Exquisite Jordan is holding solid for 20k-25k and slowly building up. Of course the original PMG green is a whole different story. Just my 2 cents.

Unless you are trading for the REAL PMG Green MJ, Keep the MJ Exquisite, much more iconic card.

UD is probably gonna be printing out more of these PMG Greens in years to come anyways.

Wait which one is worth more now ?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-12-Flee...item3ccafe30e3

This is the card . I think the value is 10-15 k because there is a refractor line thru it . If there was not a ref line card would be long gone off of ebay .

There are only 2 cards that warrant trading a retro rc for...
Original PMG Green and a UD ALLSTAR GU AUTO /23.

There are tons of Exquisite Jordan autographed patches that are numbered to 23 and even much lower, and if UD gets their license back, or if someone else buys them out in the future and makes NBA cards, then there will be tons more exquisite Jordans produced in the future.

As alluded to above, you can just always buy another exquisite retro Jordan if you trade for the green and sell the green for cash since it's the hottest card right now.

A person with no brain would easily do this deal.

There are only 10 greens in existence, and 10 original greens, and that's it - there are literally hundreds of exquisite Jordans out there, and chances are you will be able to pick one up any time you want.

But the green never comes along, those who are buying a green will never sell it in a million years, so once you lose that chance, it's gone forever.

Everyone will envy you on this board if you get a green, even if it's in a UNC uniform. Exquisite jordans are a dime a dozen, even the retro one.

The retro one is TOO over-rated. Why would you pay over $10,000 for an exquisite retro jordan when you can buy an 03-04 limited logo jordan for less? You can buy other exquisite jordans numbered to 23 with an auto and multiple patches for $5000 or less, why in the world would you want to keep the retro jordan when you have the chance to get a huge pmg green that is worth triple what a exquisite retro Jordan should be worth?

Get the fleer retro green, sell it, then buy 3 more exq. retro jordans since they always pop up and are so easy to find.

The exquisite retro jordan is just all hype. You should trade it for a REAL investment piece - the fleer retro jordan PMG green/10.

Also consider how the refractor line detracts from the look of the card.
