NBA League Pass for Mobile on NBA.com

I have a question about this and was wondering if anyone on the board knew, the NBA Mobile App that NBA.com offers do you still need to purchase the NBA League Pass from your Cable provider or can you just pay the 49.99 and watch it on Google or iTunes?

I bought the App 2 years ago and there was no need to purchase it again through your cable provider. If you have an iphone buy it on itunes. You can get real legit with it if u have an iphone. (no blackouts, watch it on your TV with a converter) let me know, I can help you out. BTW if you keep it basic youll have to watch the games on your phone not online.
