First off, I want to thank everybody on the forums for all of the hobby knowledge I have gathered over the past year and all of the trades I have my made for my PC. I enjoy coming here everyday and just getting away from life and getting sucked into the world of a hobby I really enjoy.

On to "business", as a token of my appreciation to the BO community, I would like to give something back.

At this point in my collecting, I am not entirely sure I have a favorite card. I have some cards that I really love, but not one that I can say is my single favorite. The day I get the Stockton auto I want, that will change. Anyways, I want to see a pic/scan of your favorite card and a reason of why it is your favorite. I will make a list of all entries and random them all and determine a winner.

I will close off all entries Thursday 10/11/12 at 6:00 PM CST.

The prize..../49 delivered straight to your door. Might throw in an extra bonus as well!

Hope to see some special cards and hear some awesome stories!

first i wanna say its a very cool thing your doing

ok so many reasons why the jordan rookie is my favorite card , the easy answer is, it is the rookie card of one of the most iconic players to ever play the game but it goes deeper than that for me ,when i was dating my wife i was a small time collector loved the cards but never bought singles or boxes even , just packs at the store 2 or 3 dollars tops per pack always wanted the jordan but thought it was out of my reach , we were young didnt make a ton of money, but little did i know she was saving and one year on my birthday she gives me the 86 fleer set with out the jordan in it...so im going thru everycard and cant find the jordan and im freaking out , and then she hands it to me wrapped seprate , that day still brings a smile to my face
it is a psa 8 and i swear even if someone offered me a gem mint 10 in exchange for it the answer would be no , because this jordan to me is priceless

it's currently my favorite. the card is a gold rush 14k josh smith, from '11-'12 gold standard. i never thought they would actually make one, but they did: a real gold piece nugget on a basketball card. very cool.

i'm a huge giants fan and when i got this it went in my pc the moment i got it! considering i don't really have too much and have only been collecting for a year. anyways it's a dual color gu, but i call it a patch lol. anyways strahan was a beast all of his career and as a giants fan to have a patch of him = will always be one of my favs, but for the moment it's my favorite.

this has to be my favorite card in my PC...it features both my PC guys and is the only card in existence where they both signed together. Doesnt get much better then this

I don't do too much basketball, but this is by far my best and favorite basketball card. I love the design, and that the autograph actually fits the window. Numbered 4/5.
