I'm pretty sure if someone took the time and traced the outline of potential players they could figure it out. Panini likes to use the same images from product to product so I guarantee its the same image that is on one of their basketball cards.

That's what I think too now that I look at it closer. It's Wade. He doesn't currently sign for Panini, so it'd be a real nice addition to their products.

If they get Rose that would be big for panini since they already have Durant, Kobe, Griffin, J. Wall, and K. Irving. What a list of all stars!

In order to be successful in the basketball market without having 2 of the tope 3 demand players for autos, Panini needs to do something. Kobe alone will not cut it. Increasing kobe production will not make up ground either.

They need to take a different path. Its clear they cant get Lebron and MJ (2 of the top 3). Instead of beating the pulp out of kobe autos, they should refocus. Refocus on whats not available but had demand. Current players all have autos. Why not look at popular retired players with demand and try and hammer out some sort of deal.

Seems like Stockton, Dr J, Kareem, Russell and other sign. Why not go get someone that is not known to sign and throw up a cash cow at them. Barkley, Malone and distinct cut autos.

My guess is D Wade which would be a smart move. Panini comes around more often when LJ is around and then they try to get LJ on board too since upper deck is all but done.

Thoughts?

I think your list has it perfect. My guess is:

Most likely: Kryie Irving
Possible: CP3
DRose
Dirk
Least Likely, but Possible: DWade

DWade would be insane, but I doubt that's happening.

Exactly the same as your list, a good prediction if you ask me.

I agree, I think it's Wade. He recently dropped Jordan's brand for shoes/apparel so I think that he may have made other changes as well. Although I don't think this is big news; Wade autographs have never sold for astronomical numbers. You can get a rookie auto for under $250.
