Thought i would try some 90s basketball so i ordered a hobby box of 1996-97 TOPPS STARS
Anyone know what the hits are and would a Kobe RC be in this product ![]() should arrive in a few days will let you know what i get

That set includes cards of the players named to the Top 50 NBA players (up to that point). Off the top of my head, the base set consisted of 3 cards for each player. There was also Finest, Finest Refractor and Atomic Refractor parallel versions of each base card.
I bought one pack back in 1996 and pulled an atomic refractor of Bird. I think the Atomic Refractors were inserted 1 every 96 packs or so. Jordan Atomic Refractors are the best pull for sure. Regular refractors were inserted one every 24 packs. I believe there were also some inserts in the product, I just dont know how popular or traded they are nowadays. Ive been wanting to buy one of these boxes for a while, maybe I will go ahead and keep an eye out for them on ebay. |
