Topps did the towel, I think both Fleer and Topps did the headband and Press Pass, Fleer and Upper Deck have done shoe cards.

This, this, and this! I have always wanted to see something other than just a jersey or patch card. It would also be cool to have Shooting Sleeves, shoelaces, and pieces of net. I know they have done some of these in the past but it would be nice to bring some of these back to the hobby.

If they made these cards I would be on board...I love the tournament. It would make complete sense with the college uniforms and I think there would be a huge market for a tournament based set. I do not want a Magic or Larry Bird autograph card in a college uniform but I would if the card represented something historic like that championship game.

Would anyone want to pull just a plan Laettner auto? No, but a canvas auto representing that play would ge great. I think people would enjoy looking at that card and remembering that play.

I agree that you can't blame UD for pricing. But the Exquisite pricing is wrong. Dealers who order direct from UD paid the following:

2011-12 Exquisite: $1290 per 3 box case or $430/box. Should have a retail price of around $550-600/box, $1700-$1800/case.

2011-12 Retro: $149/box. Should have had a retail price of $200/box.

2010-11 All time Greats: $205/box. Should have been around $275 a box retail.

They put out some really nice products in ATG and Retro and the consumer determined the pricing on those 2 with the high demand. Exquisite was overpriced by the online retailer at $3000/case which made many LCSs believe that it was hot like Retro was.

Sorry to jack your thread, but people's false assumptions about the price of UD products needs to be addressed.

to be on topic, I do like the Canvas ideas for college memorable moments. I doubt UD will listen, but its worth a shot. Good luck!

I know they do Game Used Nets but what about the nets from the NCAA Championship Games. Would be cool to know exactly what game it was from and that you shared the same piece of memorabilia that the players shared. If they already do this then I apologize. You can't tell me every piece of the net gets used. But maybe?

Other timeless memories: Willis Reed comes back from injury to lead Knicks to win.

Always liked the Classic Confrontations inserts but take it to a new level with duel autographs of situations you wouldn't think of.

Upper Deck needs to use up all the rest of their archived cards in their inventory.

Call it "upper deck buyback" and issue all these cards in packs to clean up their warehouse.

Maybe we'll finally see some of those missing exquisite cards surface.

Why not just wait until the license is up for grabs, and work on quality NBA-type ideas for the return. That would be way better than soiling the Exquisite brand with jewelry cards and mid level ud black cards lol.

Because as a company they can't just sit idle and try to get the NBA license. They kinda have to do something to stay afloat lol
