I think everyone can agree that 800-1000 a box is too much. But at the UD MSRP of 1500, this product would have had tremendous value. Even with a Jordan at 500 dollars, each case would have at least 1100 in sell value. What product can guarantee 70% in ROI per case? Not too many. Even if you paid 2200-2500, you are looking at close to 50% in value per case. This is not too much different then any high end product.

Is this lebron manu patch ugly? Of course, and it really makes you wonder what was going through the design team's head.

But what about these?

Or this one?

This wasn't a perfect product by any means. Not even close. Quite a few head scratchers with respect to design and implementation. But there are some truly stellar cards in here as well, so don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.

no sticker, like 1 or 2 redemption. I wouldn't think this product is that bad.

i remember pulling my first Jordan out of 05/06 sp game used. significance auto /100.

wayyyyy nicer card than these, and it only sold for $250.

sad to say that same card can probably be had for less then a lot of these "exquisites" too. what is so exquisite about a set that is no longer exquisite?

I think the only people who really care about this are people who missed the boat on Exquisite.. This product was a solid investment overall!! Even if the designs aren't the best.

Complete garbage Im sorry for the people who spent 2k a case on this stuff . Rookies drive exquisite up in price . I mean 08/09 a guy hit 3 mj autos in a case he paid $2500 for a case everyone was like wow omg ect but no one at the show bought them he had a offer of $1700 for the 3 autos . He listed on ebay and got $1800 for the 3 and that was a amazing case .

Rookies and limited logos drive up exquisite with no great rookies in this Its a dud

I feel bad for the people who got in late and are still sitting on their cases.

Perhaps a lot of people are still "sitting" on their cases
Meaning there are lots more cases left

@pepsi porch, i generally agree with you but i think you are underestimating the ability of rookies to drive up a price. if klay thompson blows up this year or some unexpected guy people will be doing everything they can to search for their gold rookie autos and until and unless national treasures has some of these guys and people consider "those" true rookies, exquisite is where they will go.

Hit the nail on the head. I'll sit on my sealed case for a few months at the ~1900 price point. It's a no-lose situation, especially if any of the rookies has a great season. Even if I make only 500 on it, that's the easiest 500 made for doing nothing.

I said rookies drive up exquisite there are a few guys in this that could blow up . But you don't have a John wall type that will sell for $2k out of the gate plus exq and nt come out late so a lot of the rookies blossom in basketball by then

I love all these ignorant posts about how sorry exquisite is this year, while case prices increase daily.

It's only "ignorant" if you ignore the details of the product and make that assessment!

I have seen enough to make an educated assessment and I think the product is 'sorry'!

But OBVIOUSLY I only have that opinion because I am not sitting on a case!
