Why is Ronnie still in the league? I understand he's about as hard of a worker as can be, and his comeback story from his medical condition was inspirational...but...guy is just horrible.

Ronny is definitely not horrible...he is a very serviceable center, better than a lot of centers in the nba...plays quality d with some surprising offense...his main problem is there is a 100% chance of him being injured every year. Never seen a more injury prone player in my life...

Turiaf was a serviceable big man at one time in his career. That no longer is the case.

Just watch any center the Portland trail blazers draft.

Also as much as I am not a huge fan of the heat I have always like this block shot

Haha surprising the blazers didn't draft him...
But if Ronny could stay on the court he's sill a serviceable center who will play hard and quality d and get at least a block per game.

Agreed Turiaf hit his peak in his last year with LA and has been downhill from then on. He is basically at the bottom of the hill haha

honestly i agree with you but ONLY because he is so severely injury prone. if he's HEALTHY he's as good a back up center as you could have in this league...unless of course your back up center is marcus camby

but he can definitely contribute if healthy, there's no doubt in my mind about that. he WILL get you a block or 2 a game and play hard and good team defense. im not a huge ronny turiaf fan or anything, and i wasn't too sure what to expect when he came to NY, but he played well above what any of us expected when he could stay on the floor.

didn't he start some in the playoffs for the heat last year? maybe when bosh was hurt??
he can contribute, and is a good veteran center if healthy IMO. he'll never look that sexy on the stat sheet, but he provides quality minutes...
