amazing to see how low the prices are when certain "sellers" are not involved.

Sometimes it's also a matter of certain bidders not being involved any longer. I see many cards that go for a nice price and then the next one goes for much less because of the competitors bidding.

IF you blame it on bidder activity then how do you justify why certain bidders ONLY bid on certain seller auctions?

Ive asked this question before....

On the $17k auction there were atleast 5 bidders who offered more than $14k for the card. But when NYbeamo listed his, none of the 5 bidders bothered to offer on the auction eventhough it was the same card, same grade with the same subgrades and up for auction at the same time.

I wonder why they would offer more for the exact same card in the same grade when they could have easily bought it 4k+ less?

NOt that im making fun of the issue at hand, but many new speculators in the market are people using bail out money to fund their prospecting.

The card has some considerable surface damage. To call this card mint is absolutely absurd and anyone who had 2 seconds of their life to spare probably saw it and moved on.

This card really sold over 10k at one point . I think its ugly compared to some on the 90s MJ inserts

It's STILL amazing how they're able to shill bid it up for $5500.... but still a looong way from the record price of $18,250.00!!!

Yes, it was a bgs 9.5 BUT there is no way a bgs 9 "sells" for $5500 when the bgs 9.5 "sold" for $18,250.00!!!!! smh

This is pretty much a $300-$400 card before the bs, so still waaay too high at $5500. But throw in some fake bids and BAM, $5500 it is......

Are people still falling for this? Do you even believe the $5500 price? Check out the bid history................................
