Default Bench Player Most Likely to Thrive with More Minutes

Not making a Jeremy Lin comparison here, just looking for a guy who you think would "answer the call" in a big way if he saw a major increase in minutes, and do it consistently.

I think a healthy Avery Bradley will do wonders this year, same with Courtney Lee having Rondo with him.

Marshon Brooks.

Let's face it, the majority of these posts will be biased. But I seriously think Marshon could do some good for the Nets off the bench.

Well in all fairness it would be much harder to gauge the potential of bench players on other teams compared to the one a person roots for.

Well you gotta go with Harden, maybe Aaron Brooks on the Kings.

Edit: So much for Harden being a bench player

DJ Augustin.

Kid can/will average close to double digit assists when surrounded by talent. And he's showed glimpses of it the past few preseason games.

I'm gonna get blasted (again) for this...

But if Mario Chalmers was a go to PG a la Chris Paul or Deron Williams.. he could be a 15-20ppg and 8-12apg guy.

*braces*

Norris Cole....I know he started a few games, so he should count.

I watch him every day.. I'm not so sure. With seasoning maybe.. but every time he touches the ball he looks to shoot first, team second. 2-3 years from now I completely agree he should be a starting PG

Trevor Booker. Might be impossible with the logjam at forward, but he puts up nice number whenever he gets time.

So Norris Cole dominating Horizon League in college means he could be a star in the NBA?

Interesting. Hmmm

That's true I had him on my fantasy team last year, earned a spot on my team nonetheless.

LOL.....I have to go against some Heat fans on this one.

Norris Cole is overrated, and that's that he's not rated that highly either.

He had a few good games last year, but I'm sure we can go down the list of irrelevant players who had a few good games as well.

Well yeah, great point guards tend to have that effect on players.

Never said Norris Cole is a bum, but hes not gonna be a superstar based on what he did in the Horizon League. That is just plain silly.
