For me it would be this paid $75 BIN when there weren't any to be found now you can find them at a fraction of the price I paid for.

siumaisifu, $75 sounds like a fair price.

The sale prices (excluding postage) for that particular card over the last year or so are as follows (from oldest to most recent):

$59, $61, $81, $83, $62, $49, $91, $55 = Average of $68

So you overpaid by $7.

However, when you factor in postage costs, you paid the going rate.

This could bring back nightmares for a PC or set collector.

in 1996 I banked on 2 guys. Kobe and Derek Fisher. Thank god Kobe came through.

But Derek Fisher?

-200+ UD SP Rcs
-50+ Chrome Rookies
-150+ Finest rookies
-Handful of Chrome and Finest refractors.

===============

I also took a hit on picking up 04 exquisite Rookie auto patches of common rookies. I was literally buying anything that ended at less than $12. Suffice to say, not a single guy panned out to make anything. Not a huge loss compared to the risk I took, but I have been selling them off next to nothing slowly..

Recent pic of a few that I have left from 100s of them

========================
Taking a chance on 1998 SP Authentic rookies? I have about 10 completed sets left.

I'm pretty cheap when it comes to collecting. I rarely spend more than $20 for one card.

Most of my Silhouettes I have paid premium prices for about 75% of them.
