if you see the line Knicks -3.5; in order to win the bet, yes they have to win by 4 points (or more of course)

if you teased it to Knicks + (whatever points, +.5, +1) means now instead of being the favorites, they are now "getting points"...which means you would win the bet if the Knicks still win of course, OR if they lose by less than the point they are getting; such as if you take the Knicks in an 8 point teaser...that would move the Knicks from -3.5, to +4.5....meaning that you win the bet if the Knicks win outright (which is predicted by the initial -3.5 point spread) OR if they lose by less than 5 points

as far as payouts...you have to at least pick 2 teams/total points for a teaser...so the payout is going to be larger than a straight bet on 1 game; the trick is..like i said..the more points you want to "add" the more it will cost you

yes youd win that bet..but yes, just like a parlay..youd have to win all "games" on the teaser you pick to win the bet..

like i said..minimum is 2, and i thnik most have a cutoff at 12 max

Can anyone else play 3 team teasers in basketball for 8 pts besides me?

3 teams is hard to hit as it is, +10 for a 4 teamer isn't worth it in baskets.

$100 parlay with lakers over cle 6.5 point and NY over nets 4 point
$50 for LA over chicago 3.00 point

put this in a teaser:

Michigan over teased down to 122.5 ~ predicted final 87-49
Minnesota side teased down to 7.5 ~ predicted final 72-60

and any of the following:

Cal poly +13.5
Tenn chat + 26.5
santa clara +2.5

Cal poly ~ teams are very even
Tenn chat ~ LSU turns the ball over too much and they should be favored by 12-13.5 not 19.5
santa clara ~ won this same game last year against san jose state with the exact same starting lineup, won by 26.

I still think Mich covers this game, a real slow start will hurt the half bet......I figured I would get 52-55 1st half and get 70 2nd half to hit the over, right on track if they don't go cold over the last 3 mins.

sorry buddy, I didn't see the line go up, 20 was pushing it, I would have told you to pass.........1 in 500 games played every year gets a 1st half line of -20.
