Chris Paul
Deron
Rose - when healthy
Westbrook -
Rondo or Parker

Also Nash might be in the mix (still) then maybe Lawson or Irving or a couple others.

At any given time 2-6 could be inter changed but overall at peak I would rank it like that.

I look at what each player does over a period of time and how much he helps his team nightly. My list is the following.

1. Chris Paul. He can do it all.
2. Rondo. Him Paul and Nash are the three best passers. Rondo is also a monster on defense. If his jumper gets better he could top this list.
3. Williams.
4. Rose. If he was healthy and playing I think he would be 2rd or 3rd. I just can't rate him any higher right now because he can't be out there.
5. Parker
After that it would be Westbrook and Nash.

The problem for me with rondo is he has been a huge liability on offense due to his lack of shooting. He has been a huge liability for basically 3/4 of his career. Another issue is his attitude. Both those things have cost the celtics games and series. I also have a couple other smaller gripes but who cares.

You may say well Nash was a major liability on defense. Well in my opinion that is easier to get around with overall team defense then rondos shooting problems are.

No doubt is rondos passing and defense strong but his weakness are very weak.
Other PGs in the league are a lot more evened out. Also guy like Williams rose Nash have not really had optimal situation rondo has had to play within.

I wish rondo had a much better shooting % than 52%, which btw, second among pg's behind teague by .3%

so terrible

ps rondo's career shooting % is 1% under nash, parker and lawson, not a huge difference

You are joking right.

Classic person that has no clue about stats. See numbers and think that all there is.

Lmao. You just prove how oblivious you are. Yikes.

just as much as you look at just his jumpshot and not everything else he does great with his shooting and driving to the lane

the stats proved you wrong.

That shiny thing on Rondos' finger is called a Chamionship Ring and he commandeered that team. What is that YOU DON'T GET? You keep talking about Nash as so much better but he doesn't have any Bling on his fingers.

Just stop posting none sense, actually just stop posting. Weren't you supposed to find another forum that can comprehend your silliness?

I guess lucky for rondo every shot counts for and against shooting %.

A shot is a shot no matter how you want to argue it whether it a 3p, a layup, a dunk, a 18 footer, a 5 footer.

Lol. Good comeback. More childish dribble.

Rondo commandeered the championship season. Lol

How many dual Mvps does rondo have? See I can play too. What's next you going I stick up for the guy that says rondo can shoot jut as well as Nash?

That's great. Thank you statistician master. Now you just need to learn about how the game of basketball is played to understand how missed ride open shots or refusal to shoot and make them impacts the game.

Shaq had a very high fg percentage. Meaning he is just as good a shooter as ray Allen! Lol

Rondo could be an elite scorer in the leage for a season or two before his body breaks down Rose style. He can slash to the rim as good as anyone but Ill take a weak jumper and hopefully 10 points a night if it means getting a few more years out of him

Yes, he commandeered that team. He made them GO. Plain and simple.

Nash won 2 MVP's because he made the Suns go but that couldn't even get them into the Western Conference Championship with ANY team he played on. He won the MVP's based on popularity and although I am not one to speak much on race, it did have a huge effectin him winning those trophies.

Rondo could not be an elite scorer.

Good slasher. Poor shooter. Misses a lot of lay ups. Terrible ft shooter. Does not translate to rose type of scorer.

Hes got a good layup, if he took more then 5 or 6 a game he would have much better numbers. And he would be like Rose in that his body would tear apart from so much abuse running in the paint

A PG is supposed to be a distributor. Do you not understand the NBA Game? The 2 Guard is the SHOOTING guard. Point Guard is supposed to spread the ball around SF is usuly the most versite player. PF is just that, a power player and the Center should be a good rebounder and have a faiy good back to the basket game. Are you Dense?

I am not sure of how old you are because you may have been immune to what was really going on then but many sports radio shows discussed this very topic and articles were written about how the NBA needed a different "Flavor" for the MVP much like how Jordan did not win 6-8 MVP's himself. Back in the day this was discussed at nauseaum.
