how can the best point guard in the league be a guy that you can't let have the ball near the end of games because he can't make free throws?

And still Ainge wanted to trade for him....go figure!

Fab Melo hasnt even played a game, and hes a bad draft pick?

Sigh you sound like a Knick fan.

My opinion....Rondo is ONE OF the best point guards in the league. I would go Paul, then maybe Deron and Rondo. Nash, Westbrook, Parker are all in the mix too but I think Rondo is ARGUABLY the best pure passing PG in the league and the best rebounding PG. He is also extremely tough, where as Chris Paul has knee issues that will hurt his future.

Yes he is an iffy shooter and acts like a child a lot, those are his major downfalls that hold him back.

I will take a top point guard like Rondo any day of the week. So no, I dont think hes the best PG in the leage but I can see why people say it.

But seriously, pissed at Fab Melo already?

I like Rondo's game. He is fun to watch and does a great job running the Celtics offense. He is also one of the top point gaurds in the league. However, he needs to take losing with dignity and not make stupid flagrant fouls at the end of games.

He was not worthy of that pick.. He is not an NBA BIG MAN.. sorry. If I were Ainge i would have taken Perry Jones III or Arnett Moultrie.. Or If I wanted to get really creative I would have traded up in the draft by shipping off those 2 picks.. Or adding Avery Bradley and a pick to get even higher up.

Woah woah, why trade Avery Bradley? Do you not like young defensive wings? Why would you ever consider dealing arguably the only young potential building block not named Rondo to move up in the weakest draft class since 2000?

Fab Melo has not stepped on the court of an NBA regular season game and he is already a bust, how so? He is raw, extremely raw, but to say he isnt an NBA big man....how do you know?

So assuming you wanted to deal both picks, means you arent happy with Sullinger too? What is going on with you?

First we do not know how Fab Melo will play out. I am not a fan and did not understand the pick but I also thought Perkins would be horrible and he turned out to be a serviceable big. Second EVERY GM misses on draft picks, especially outside of the lottery. Ainge is the same GM that saw Rondo's talent to begin with while others passed. In general he has a good grasp of talent, more so with guys that have already been established in the NBA.

.....Melo's NBA career is exactly 1 day old. This is the most premature discussion I have ever heard.

He was inactive last night too. Unless people wanna call him a bust based on what sport coat he was wearing, he cant be judged yet.

He will not see the court this year except in the most lopsided mop up duty. It will be a while before we really know.

If he couldn't dominate college basketball centers what makes you think he will adapt a skill set to play well in the NBA? He averages less than 6 rebounds a game at 7'0.

Totally right man. If you cant dominate college basketball, you are a bust.

Call Danny Ainge, you discovered something he must have missed.

Well someone stated that he wanted to trade Rondo for cp3.. I'm obviously stating that he doesn't always make the best decisions.. So yeah I might be hating in that matter. I can't tell if you guys are actually Celtic fans or not, but if I was I would much rather have Rondo than cp3..

Rondo as the best pg in the league is laughable. I mean even most celtics fans aren't that crazy to say that.

Are you telling me that was a bad move by Ainge?

Jason Kidd also said this, "We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees".

LOL
