Lakers 0-2

Blazers look dangerous :)!

pingbling23 11-01-2012 02:21 AM

I don't think anyone thought they would start the season like this. I only caught half of the fourth quarter, why wasn't Nash playing.

He got injured.

Yeah, big surprise, I know.

LOL@ the Lakers thinking they were getting Nash from 04-05

He knocked knees with Lillard

Blake did a great job though. As expected, a team with a good PG will have a feast on the Laker team.

Is it too late to jump on the Heat bandwagon?
Or is there too many band-wagoners on it already?

Make all the Heat jokes you want....it's YOUR team on the hot stove.

And us REAL Heat fans are loving this :D

freeman2jackson 11-01-2012 02:28 AM

Blazers have always been a dangerous team especially at home, Lakers are just overrated

Lakers start like this and a weak jab at heat fans is all you can type. This could have been a constructive thread about what's going wrong with the lakers.

I've been a fan long enough to not worry or listen to the critics when the Lakers struggle. At the end of the day, they will contend.

Really? Is there some type of imaginary rivalry you guys have with us?

i think the closest thing to REAL fans the Heat have are people who became fans after Wade was drafted

vs the Mavs....No offense and spotty defense

vs the Blazers... Ok offense and no defense.

Simple as that.

W/E, this thread is about the Lakers....All I can do is sit back and enjoy the chaos that is brewing over there.

Knicker_Please 11-01-2012 02:39 AM

2 games in...really nothing to see here.

lakers don't look good at all right now and i am by no means a lakers fan, but thats why they play 82...

i will say that i think and always have thought that hiring mike brown was a horrible move.

lakers will be ok, can't say i don't hate seeing them lose, but they will be fine.

MikeMamba 11-01-2012 02:40 AM

Best thing that can come out of this is firing Mike Brown.

And don't feel bad for him. He will still get his money.

Completely agree....HOWEVER...define "fine".

Because if the Lakers were in the East, I would say they are still a Top 2 team even if they started 0-5!

They are in a VERY COMPETITIVE West.

We don't know how long it will take this team to come together, it could be a week or it could be a month, or longer!

unfortunately, barring injuries i think they will gel and be in contention in the west. once you put it together, it doesn't matter how bad you were in the first few games of the season.

trust me, i would definitely not mind the lakers crashing and burning this season. but with the talent on that team, i just don't see it. i think they get it together and when they do, they will be one of the best teams in the west.

Lol. Yeah once they win it seems like it.
The Miami heat has a better chemistry and have so much talent.

But still a Lakers fan... as long as Kobe plays...
Go Lakers!!!!

I was kidding, I'll be a Lakers fan forever!
We got 2 more seasons to enjoy Kobe.

tristan20 11-01-2012 02:58 AM

Kobe should have been out of the game, he kept crying about ever call. He didn't even run back with the team when they turned the ball over time and time again. Talk about leadership and maturity.

If Howard didnt hit his FTs this game would have been UGLY. Oh and Ron Artest is the dumbest player on the planet. Dude plays without a brain

You seem more concerned than actual Lakers fans.

The West is a juggernaut....OKC, Spurs, Clippers, Jazz, etc.

Chemistry is very important in the NBA.....if you're right about everything you said (and I think you are right), I just hope it takes them months before they figure it out.

Because I really do believe that the difference between #1 and #5 in the West will be very slim.

There isn't a single team that will run away with it (at least that's what I think.)

But I'm just hoping it takes awhile.

Dwight also said it, he kinda laughed after he said it, I'm sure he was referencing Lebron.

of course, but it doesn't matter what seed they get. if they gel, they will be extremely dangerous...

here's hoping they don't lol...
