Default The HEAT in MSG tonight was turned off.

The only thing on fire tonight appears to be the KNICKS...Go NY Go NY Go... I think i just saw another 3 go down. lol My senses are telling me that my knicks are going to be 1-0.

ray looked like a breath of fresh air tonight! we all love ray from that previous year, and he looks like he's definitely ready to play this year. he's definitely not out of shape, he's always looked a tad heavy but he looks exactly the same as he did, he's in plenty good enough shape. he definitely is going to show people this year, i know its one game, but i've been saying this for a while.

If you guys keep hitting those 3s I think you'll be alright.

if knicks hit their 3's they win n if they don't they are gonna lose..Anyone miss Amare? He doesn't fit w Melo out there. I wish him well and hope he recovers, but he will eventually just be a distraction and get in the way... Heat didn't seem up for this game tonight..Maybe it was the 3 hours of traffic that got Dwayne upset n he left his game on the team bus..lol

really not a consistant way to win, although they have good 3 point shooters. its all about keeping the defense consistent. the offense will come.

Honestly the Heat look uninterested in winning this one. Plus when the other team is draining 3s there is nothing you can do.

But we all know Amare is gonna come back and mess it all up again

So the heat gave em this game? I know what they could have done, not let the knicks shoot wide open threes all night...

Is it just me or are the Knicks better with Amare not playing?

Absolutely. When Amare comes back, he should be a bench player, playing for 15-20 min a game . Amare should be out there when Carmelo is on the bench. They both need the ball and plenty of space to do their thing. There is no space when they are on the floor at the same time, which is why it hasn't worked witht he 2 of them from day 1...

You know, I agree but not because of offense. They can figure that out. Amare just can't play defense. This team needs to hang its hat on being very good defensively and melo seemed to be on that tip last night. I'm not sure amare will ever be in the same universe as that tip so that's why his return scares me. But as a bench player his offense could be a very welcome addition.

If he's able to contribute offensively, that will be great. His defense will definately take aig hit, (i assume) but when Melo's out there, we don't need Amare's offense or his taking up space on the court..When Tyson and/or Melo go off the floor, let Amare clog the middle at the PF/Center poition and give him his touches...Otherwise he's a clog when Melo and Tyson are out there. Btw, dnt sleep on this kid Copeland, he can and i think will be a player for this team. I'm taking credit for calling it now. lol

Like I said, I'm worried about his defense. And you can't take credit for cope! We all know he's the truth.

For a man as big and athletically gifted as Amare, he's just lazy as hell on defense... Kurt Thomas at 40yrs old still puts in more effort trying to stay in front of his man and boxing out. Speed ball and constant switching under Mike D helped cover some of this up, but otherwise Stat is exposed.
