Guys. Honestly. Melo needs to stop being so quick to pull the trigger on 3's. I mean I know we needed a 3 to tie the game up, but there was still 14 seconds left. Should have waited for a screen to use to get a better look, or get set at least. Plenty of time left and he rushed into it. Also shooting in the first half was well below par. Two people can't do it all. Tough loss. Tough stretch for that matter. Lets hope they pick it back up.

Problem right now is pg play. With ray out they have no pg that can penetrate. They'll be fine once all healthy.

Very true. Lillard is becoming dominant in the 4th. Melo just seems to be rushing it a little too much. Not just on the last posession, but in a few leading up to it as well. Like the one where he came down and just automatically chucked up a 3 and JR was there to save the play with a sick putback.

thats melo's shot he like the in rythm pull up three

if he is feeling it let him shoot when he thinks he wants to

i thought it was smart b/c if he waited till the end he would have gotten doubled or fouled and we would have 2 ft's coming up and still no timeouts

not doubled at the time and got a good look
can't complain

also, even tho he missed they still had a better chance b/c 2 missed free throws they could have got up another 3
or if they had a timeout...

ya tough loss and a tough few games
we need some more solid pg play
kidd gotta penetrate a little

brewer gotta shoot when he has the shot
and novak is honestly terrible.. copeland didnt play second half not sure why i wanted him in instead of novak

novak is not useless. leading 3pfg last year? I admit his shot is nowhere near what it was last season, but he is far from useless. Just by him being there spaces the floor because defenses have to account for his shot.

Pablo was brought in to play limited minutes, but once again. He is a solid player for his role. He's not a scorer, but a playmaker.

not trying to get into an argument with a fellow knicks fan, but melos shot in clutch situations has always been in rythm, not rushed. He still normally sets himself more than that. I've been watching him for 10 years. Look up videos of his game winners, even look up the one from mothers day last year against the bulls. Both of those were 3's and he didn't kill the clock, but he got squared up with the rim alot better than he did tonight. I am not saying he should have waited until the clock ran completely down, all I said is he could have waited for a screen to get a better look, or at least squared up. Look up the videos and you'll see what i'm talking about.

Glad to see the Blazers actually be able to hang on. Surprised at their record considering they have the worst bench in NBA history. Also nice to see the Knicks coming back a bit to reality here.

The East is wide open though. Could see a number of teams making the ECF.

+1 on this. defense has gotten sloppy. They aren't playing with anywhere near the same intensity that they were at the start of the year. Shooting also is in a major slump.

The majority of them are in a slump from everywhere it seems. They will get their shooting form back. That's the easiest thing to fix in the NBA.

Screw those melo shots, melo is not near the reason they lost this game. It was inconsistent defense and mostly lack of pg penetration and pg defense. Really as simple as that.

Idk if healthy in 7 games it seems like Knicks and heat in ecf. Knicks are just in a bit of a slump without key players. Starting backcourt is out. When shump and Felton get back it'll be much different. Boston always scares me but we'll have to see what team they have by that time...hawks or pacers? IMO healthy its heat Knicks then the rest...

i can tell u the bucks would not beat the knicks in a 7 games series

the only teams stopping the knicks and melo from the ecf is the celtics or the bulls with rose back and healthy

even with this knicks team playing with injuries today (felton, shump, sheed) im not scared of any team besides c's bulls heat

literally every player on the team is banged up...

melo has a hyperextended knee and bad ankle
