Its not an unreasonable trade.. Shump has been kinda bummin lately. However, he's off surgery and needs time..That lottery pick sure is enticing and Dudley isn't bad...The question is, does the addition of Dudley help put us over the top, as well as how bad does the loss of Shump hurt the knicks..Also, are we going to watch Shumpert turn into an All star and defensive marvel for another team etc.??? One thing we know , is that the Suns are drooling over the idea of getting. rather stealing Shump from the Knicks.. The suns tried to get him last yr if everyone remembers..Lastly, what do the Knicks turn the lottery pick (protected or not?) into...I'd pass, but it's something to think about..BTW, Shump, its time to cut that kid n play high-top, he looks like a damn fool and i think it might be weighing and slowing him down. lol

this is a week draft class and you hope to get a guy with shumps potential with a top 10 pick. hes ahtletic, pretty good shot, explosive, great d and as for dudley, he's a good player on a bad team, on the knicks i don't see him being very effective.

SHumpert is a shooting guard who can't shoot .
Plus no one guards him .

Shumpert will be a 10 ppg guy and you have plenty in this league who you can sign or trade for a second round pick .

Don't really see why the Knicks could use someone like Dudley. Already got enough 3 point shooters. At least if Shumpert gets a bit more in shape you have an above average defender that is useful come playoff time.

woodson is in love with jr he played like 36 minutes and had 6 points

27 for crawford 6 for jr thats the difference there... i wasnt very impressed with the clippers tho... jamal and chris paul were on there a game and couldnt miss and they didnt blow out the knicks either... clippers not near spurs and okc level in my opinion but have a ton of potential

i thought chandler was soft, jr was off, amare was underused and bad in the first half, novak was non existent and everyone else besides carmelo and ray was negligible. i did see one cool thing though, after the game, CP3 gave his jersey to some kid wearing a CP3 jersey and was really nice about it and careful to make sure the kid got the jersey over all the grabbing hands.

as for shumpert, dudley hasn't done anything in his career. shumpert was an amazingly promising rookie who is like 10-15 games removed from an ACL injury, one of the hardest to recover from in sports. if we don't give this guy a year or 2 to develop and see if he can be a key player, we are fools. there is a reason the suns want him.

Plain n simple-Knicks need a sg, back up center/pf to help w defense n rebounding...A player who can get to the foul line and score from the post wouldn't hurt either. Amare isn't enough...Tyson's D has suffered big time n he's been soft lately..I didn't like watching him stand around while clippers were jumping over him to get boards like mad today...

there is one reason why they lost, and it was melo going 5-24. not because brewer isn't playing lol. he's horrible. they played a bad game and that happens in the nba. really no reason to over-react. they've had much more games that go the other way.

imo we have beaten 2 good teams in 2013 being the celtics and hawks...

gotta beat up on the shitty teams at home

considering how we started and a harder second half schedule....
started 10-0 at home and now 9-8 since then

Overall terrible game, lots of chances for us to take over the game but they couldn't execute. We're not a mess right now, just have to get back to the hard playing defensive team we were at the beginning. I think a week off will be good, big game against Indiana a week from tonight.

besides 2night, verse clippers, verse wizards, we beat wolves but barely, just not nearly as much ball movement and not as hard defense....
kidd needs this rest the most... thats for sure lol...when he plays well every1 does.

but just be positive. it will all be fine, the team is the best the knicks have fielded in over a decade. They'll go on another win streak after the all star break.
