novak needs to get in the gym more or something. last year it seemed like EVERY shot looked like it was going in. some of them this year are awful for him.

Novak def. over achieved last year at times. he is a real good shooter but anyone that thinks he can really be a great role player has too high of expectations.

I think he might have been in the gym too much in the off season...maybe tweaking his shot? But really we're all looking too far into it. The man is in a slump and he'll break out of it, I have no doubt.

True, but if amare is willing I see no reason why he wouldn't come off the bench. Even unwilling woody I believe would have started bringing him off the bench. It's the obvious solution...I got faith in woody. The usual qualm seems to be 'will amare bitch about coming off the bench?' Well at least he says he won't...he's gotta be crazy to want to bully himself into a line up that's winning games. As if people didn't think he sucked bad enough already...

in theory amare probably is fine with it but he may feel otherwise if the coach leaves him out and he is only playing 15-20 min a game and getting 5 shots. then we will see how fine amare is.

it should be interesting to see how it plays out.

it depends how he is playing in those games...if he is playing well, he'll get plenty of burn / shots. thats the thing, with the 2nd unit he can be the featured offensive player and get plenty more shots than with the 1st unit.

it will be interesting indeed, i think amare will be a good addition to this team.

i realllllllllllly hope that these "sources" are correct. If he agrees to be the star of the second unit it will really help the problem we have with not being able to produce once melo and other starters leave the floor.

I honestly think that a knicks/heat ECF is the most realistic scenario right now. If they keep this up then they may end the season 1-2 in standings. Meaning they win out they match up to see who goes to the finals.

Bucket smith!! I don't exactly like them shooting more than 40 3s...but 13-4 is 13-4 and good for 1st in the conference outright...should be a good one tomorrow!
