If what has been said about him that he would accept a 6th man role is true, than it will just make the bench that much deeper. Also it would allow Melo to get some longer rests.

The more important question is how much better will the Defense get when Shump comes back. Brewer to the bench, or does Shump start off coming off the bench? either way it makes the second unit better with one of them out there at almost all times

I mean if wade and bosh don't show up they basically have no chance...

But I think the Knicks have a good formula to beat the heat - take care of the ball and get the perimeter shooters open...

Well any team that makes 18 3s will beat any team. But to do it 4 games against the same team. Highly unlikely.

But the Heat defense was HORRIBLE. Chander kept getting open baskets. One play he was even shocked no one was around lol

Well they could have won with 12...but all I'm saying is the heat thrive in transition. The Knicks are the best team in terms of not committing turnovers. And they have been playing some pretty good defense. So you keep the heat in the half court where they don't excel and play solid d, you have a good chance to beat them.

The Knicks were beating the heat to the rack all night, setting up open 3s. Wasn't just jacking up bad 3s and making them...the Knicks have a pretty good stable of 3 point shooters, and 3 solid pgs to set them up. But they were also missing their main post player in melo obviously. Amare should also help make the team less reliant on 3s.

Either way, this team has been shooting a great clip from deep the whole year, because they're getting great looks.

Also played pretty bad in some other games like against the wizards which they lost, and also against the Spirs backup that they pulled out in the end. The Heat right now are on a Championship hangover. At some point they should wake up. Question is when.

I am happy for Knicks fans. They have waited a while to see a team like this. I know how it feels when your team is down and going nowhere. To see this kind of improve is great. It will be nice to see another team win it all other than the Lakers, Heat, Celtics, or Spurs. I hope they can keep it up.
