Damian Lillard- tonight!

I finally bought my first Lillard cards within the last week or so but had never seen him play. So I youtubed his highlights! Wow, he is excellent. Great fundamentals, great scorer and that stepback jumper is amazing. He's live on tv if anyone wants to see wth I'm talking about. After seeing him play I'm calling ROY over Davis.

He reminds me of Westbrook with a better 3 and he's gunna be a better decision maker

I don't mean to be negative, but I think he's completely overrated.

I've seen his highlights, how he plays. He looks average at BEST. Has a decent touch, isn't lightning quick, can barely dunk, small size, average strength. Passing ability is average at best. I don't know why there's so much hype around him?! In all honesty, I've seen better abilities out of players around my area. He seems like an average tj-ford type player. I just don't see any specific skills that make him stand out.

He's nothing like Drose, Westbrook. Not even in the same dimension!

But I guess it's good for the game & hobby!

Great point guard. Perfect for NBA new adoptive and revised pick and rolls plays!
The Stockton and Malone specialty. Now a days we see lots of variations of it.
Its the most basic and yet proven very effective play.
Damian Lillard adopted this in his early years that's why he is natural with it!

Can barely dunk ? check him doing windmill over the backboard or riders, i think you'll change your mind.
Like said previously he's a way better shooter than westbrook or drose and got a great basket IQ too.
Future all star to me !

paul you are way off on this one but you'll see that barring injuries. he's just not as athletic as those two, but as nash has shown (and he's way more athletic than that) you dont need to be.

Excellent perspective and opinion. He is fun to watch but agree he does not possess the firepower that set Westbrook and Rose apart. That said, he is a stable and fundamental player.

Eric Bledsoe is better . Damian will be a solid player but no way he is a allstar .
