That means We have a chance to get those at target. While shopping we could add a box or two in the cart! Retail Boxes have something to look forward too.
I would love if it was also available on Hobby boxes too.
It would just make it more confusing on packaging i guess.

They look like Topps chrome and the design with the curves look like baseballs bowman chrome, also has a little bit of topps finest in it too, looks like panini was studying some of topps products

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Everything has influences and with there being no topps chrome or finest basketball, there was a need for that type of card. Chrome rookies are pretty much always the best base rookie of any player in recent history. I think with the double rookie class, these will sell very well

Nothing wrong with that Panini, since you already took UD's hockey product structure..why not take the product design from Topps...

The Cup = Dominion
UD Premier = Prime
SP Game Used = Titanium

I know we have to "reuse" designs and such but taking another company's design?? and not making it better?? Come on!!!

I know all of you like or love this, but I see it as a poor execution of Topps Chrome... It looks unrefined IMO...a retail looking product to me..

from the pic, they look like a mix of EX2001 cards and Topps chrome refractors blended into one...

edit: nevermind, I thought the card was silhouetted, but looking at the second pic, I guess the background behind Kobe is just more of the chrome refractor finish

It might be just me being too picky, but I think that Kobe's full-name autograph keeps getting worse with each new Panini product coming out. Other than that, the card design looks good to me.

I think it is a wise move for Panini to move back the release dates and get back as many on card autos than rush the release than a lot of redemptions being pulled. It's a win win for both sides.
We instantly have our cards than waiting for months, then on Panini's business side. Consider all the time wasted plus all the shipping cost they could have saved.
It looks to me this Prizm with the double rookie class would be the most sought out rookies of this two class!

Are these the very first "chrome" esque type Kobe On card Auto???? I know chrome stopped in 09 and Supers didn't come until 05.... And before that there were refractors and color variances but no chrome oncards... unless I'm missing some kind of buybacks???? Any elaboration would be helpful. Hey MS. ROZEN!!!!

If they had majority on-card autos, this set could be legendary in the hobby along the lines of 94-95 finest. Better looking cards than Topps Chrome.

Unfortunately, we all know majority will be sticker autos, with majority of the autos going off the stickers. It's Panini, afterall.

I don't know why people have gripes with prizm having sticker autos. Since 04-05, Topps Chrome basketball NEVER had on-card autos either.

Glad that the product got pushed up, can't wait to build the set!
